This chapter will have a little code placed into the middle of it. I want to see how many of you can read it! I'll give you a little hint at the start of the next chapter in case you can't get it! I might include more codes in this story, so try to figure out their meanings!

"Will you please tone it down a little?" You grumbled at Conan and Dr. Agasa, as you turned the page of your book.

Conan had just informed the good doctor that someone was looking into Kogoro. Agasa was understandably upset that he was just now hearing about it. "So you think those pricks in black stole the files, but either way there are two reasons I can think of that someone would return them." You hummed, not taking your eyes off of the pages before you.

"I concur." Conan nodded. "They already know what we are going to do, or..."

"They're trying to lure someone out. In this case that is most likely Kudo, which would be you." Came a humming response. You looked up from your book, and smirked.

"Yeah, most likely." Conan mumbled obliviously.

"Of course, if it is a trap, why'd they set it up in such a complicated manner?"

"True, there are easier ways to lure someone out..." Conan's eyes widened slightly, before turning to the unannounced person. "What are you doing here, Hattori?!" Conan barked.

"Took you long enough to notice." You chuckled, placing your book down on the table you'd been sitting on.

"The old man called and said you could use your best friend's help." Heiji smiled.

"I didn't want you to try solving this on your own." Dr. Agasa explained.

"The fact that you think I'd let him do that, is offending." You grumbled, as you stood beside the bespectacled boy. "You seem to be as lively as ever." You hummed, always amused by Heiji's enthusiasm.

"Of course." Heiji grinned brightly.

"But how do you plan on moving forward?" Dr. Agasa asked. "It's like trying to catch a cloud."

"Wrong, old man. Do those two seem like the type to bring this up if they didn't have a purpose?" Heiji responded. "Well? Right? Your face tells me I've hit the right mark!" Heiji chuckled, poking Conan's forehead.

"Can we please have the short version?" You sighed.

"What are you talking about?" Conan asked, confusion written across his face.

"You have a habit of dramatizing your explanations. I usually zone out within the first sentence." You yawned. "I'm bored just thinking about it."

"Well excuse me." Conan grumbled.

"Long story short, back at the Haido City Hotel, when we ran into the guys in black again, Conan was busy trying to find the killer, Pisco. The case hinged on a missing handkerchief, but Pisco had one when the cops searched him. He could only have gotten it if there was an accomplice." You explained quickly, before Conan could yell at you. "Of the other suspects, all of whom are famous, only one is suspect."

"Chris Vineyard, the American movie star." Conan finished, a smirk on his face.

"The second generation actress?" Dr. Agasa gasped.

"The clever, pretty actress with big boobs?!" Heiji gushed.

"Way to stay on point there, bud." You snorted at the high schooler. "What would Kazuha think if she heard that?"
