You are an average high school girl; shy, secretive, and highly intelligent. However, under the cover of night, you become the sarcastic, independent, and highly intelligent thief, The Black Fox, code name Aster.
...
This chapter will be pretty long, just to finish up the case. I could break it into two chapters, but I'm too lazy to find a good stopping point for a break. Hope that won't be a problem!

Everyone was exhausted. You'd all been trying to solve the riddle with Takagi and Sato for hours, and the police had only managed to find dummy bombs. There were dozens of them, from teddy bears to fake dynamite. You were probably the only one that wasn't about to pass out from exhaustion. Come on think! You growled to yourself, as you stared into your drink. Steel batters box... blood soaked mound... it's not the trains, so what else? Okay, stop focusing on just the riddle. You've dealt with this guy before. He doesn't just want to kill the police, he wants to humiliate them. The first bomb is always the opening act. It's flashy, in an obvious place. Something great that draws attention... hold on a second... red... steel batters box... Your eyes widened. You quickly got to your feet, and began to head towards the door.
A hand caught your, stopping you. "Rin, what's going on?" Conan asked, his eyes not quite able to muster their normal intensity due to fatigue.
"I need to make sure everyone stays home. I can't let any of them go outside today. I'd never forgive myself if the orphans or any of the others got hurt." You fibbed to the boy. "I'm just going to make some calls, and make sure they are all safe."
Conan hesitantly let go of your arm. "Alright." He nodded, and you rushed out the door.
Sorry, Judo~ I just want to check something on my own. I don't have time to try explaining my reasoning, and I don't want to distract the police from the search in case I'm wrong. You thought to yourself, as you slipped past Sato and Takagi who were waiting outside the restaurant, and ran for the street. You sprinted down the sidewalk a ways, before stopping a cab. You climbed in the back seat. "I need you to get me to Touto Tower as fast as you can." You instructed.
"Can you even pay for that, kid?" The cab driver asked skeptically.
You sighed, and pulled your emergency cash from your pocket. You held up a ten-thousand yen note. "This is all yours if you step on it." You growled. The cab driver's eyes widened, and he nodded before stepping on the gas.

Where did she get off to this time?! Conan thought to himself with a sigh. She's always running off on her own. He glanced at his phone, the text still on the screen
One of my old acquaintances wouldn't answer, so I need to go check on them. If anything comes up I'll let you know.
"You make it impossible to keep you safe." He grumbled under his breath, before snapping the phone shut.
He was in the back seat of Takagi's car, headed home. The kids were chattering about the case, trying to decipher the code, when his phone buzzed again.
