"He's a thief." Mcguire stated with a growl.

"A thief? You don't seem too worried about him getting away, Mcguire. If he's a thief how come I've never heard of him until now?" Shinichi asked.

"That's because Mickey and I have an arrangement." You yawn, bored.

"What kind of arrangement?" Kudo asked Mcguire.

"He steals jewels, artifacts, and anything worth a lot of money. Then, after the theft, he helps us solve a variety of cases, so long as we pay him. After a week's worth of cases and payments, he returns what he stole. If he doesn't receive full payment, he keeps whatever he stole. He's a disgrace to mankind." Mcguire hissed venomously.

"Come now Mickey, such cruel words are unbecoming! I prefer to be called a legal thief. I steal from museums, art galleries, and rich people, but as long as they pay me, I return everything I took. I like to think of myself as a consultant who helps people to find flaws in their security." You reply with a dismissive wave.

"You stole the Black Star pearl!" Mcguire shouts at you in his characteristically angry way.

"So, what?" You state indignantly.

"Seven times!" Mcguire yells almost belligerently.

"It's not my fault they are terrible at protecting it! I mean honestly, after I stole it the first time they added in pressure plates on the floor! When I stole it the first time I came in through the window, and didn't touch the floor! What kind of idiot thinks up their security!" You shout defiantly.

"And what about The Dragon Eye Sapphire!"

"I can't imagine why you would bring that one up!"

"You stole it twelve times! And never returned it the last time!"

"They never paid me, so of course I wouldn't return it! If they can't keep their end of the deal, why should I keep mine!"

"They didn't have enough money to keep throwing at you!"

"Well maybe they should have protected it better the first time!"

"Umm... sorry to interrupt, but can we get back to the subject..." Shinichi asked with a bead of sweat on his cheek.

You sigh and hold your hands up in defeat. "Fine, I'll indulge you this once Judo."

"Uh, thanks." Shinichi replied uncertainly.

"Any who, Mickey, who might our stiff friend be?" You inquired, wanting to get back to work.

"I'm not telling you anything!" Mcguire growled.

"Come on Mickey, you know you won't get back the Blue Wonder if you don't cooperate. Honestly! I try to help you out, and this is the thanks I get~"

"I'm done playing your games!" Mcguire shouts, and orders all the officers to arrest you.

"Well, so much for doing this the easy way~" You hum to yourself as you sprint across the roof. You leap to the roof of a warehouse and freeze. Standing in front of you, blocking your path, is none other than the annoyingly smug, Shinichi Kudo. "Well, someone's pretty quick~" You sing, covering the annoyance in your voice.

"I'm sorry, but I can't let you pass." Kudo says with his infuriatingly smug grin.

Oh, how I'd love to smack that grin off his face~ You think to yourself, as you assess the situation. "Come now, Judo. This isn't a nice way to end our first encounter."

"You won't get away. The police have this building surrounded, and you won't be able to jump to the next roof. Surrender, or you'll get yourself hurt." Shinichi says in his too-cool tone.
