You let out an annoyed sigh. After all your hard work grilling the suspects, Kogoro got annoyed, and made you walk away. From what you could tell, three of the four had motives for wanting the poor girl dead.

You headed to the bathroom and began to nose your way into the CSI investigation. They didn't shoo you way, even when you kneeled a few feet from the body. They were probably used to Conan's antics of manhandling things, so you must have seemed respectful. You studied the body, looking at it from different angles. There were round indentations in the woman's neck. "Was she strangled with her necklace?" You hummed, pointing to the metal wire necklace around the woman's neck.

Chibachu looked surprised for a second, before nodding. "That's right."

"But how could someone strangle her through the bathroom door..." You muttered.

Your phone buzzed in your pocket. You leaned back on your heels and looked at your phone.

Is everything alright? The text from Conan was simple, but you knew him well enough to tell when his wording was tense.

Did Kid tell you?

He left me a note. Now answer the question.

I'm fine. Kogoro and I went out to eat, and there was a murder.

What's the situation?

Nope. This is my case. You're supposed to be hanging out with Spikey Head.

You slid your phone back into your pocket and froze. You stared at the bathroom stall the victim had been found in. The door hung slightly askew; the top hinge had been pulled out of the stall wall, a hint of gold in the open hole. "Did the fire department rip the hinge on the door?" You asked.

Chibachu nodded. "One of the firemen tried to yank the door open while they waited for tools. They said the top hinge and lock gave at the same time." He stated. "Apparently the stalls are pretty old. They're supposed to be replaced soon."

You got to your feet and approached the stall. You leapt up again, catching the wall of the stall to get a better vantage point. You pulled the broken hinge to the side, and your eyes narrowed. "Found you."

You hurried out of the bathroom and ran up to Mickey and the others who were still interrogating the suspects. "Excuse me!" You called.

Kogoro glared at you. "What did I just tell you?!" He barked.

"How often do you guys come here?" You asked, ignoring Kogoro.

"All the time." Beanie guy stated. "We come in every few days for drinks."

You looked back at burly guy, who still glowered at you. "Tall guy said you bought her a gift to apologize. What was it?"

He clenched his teeth, before letting out a sigh. "I bought her the necklace she's wearing."

Mickey and Kogoro shared a look. You knew what they were thinking. A smirk pulled up your lips. Shall I kill two birds with one stone? You thought to yourself.

You hurried back to the bathroom and waved to Chibachu. He leaned down. "Kogoro wants everyone to clear the bathroom, but he also wanted me to ask you to have someone check the victim's utensils and drink for tampering." You whispered.

"Tampering?"

"I think he said to look for things that make people throw up, and roofies... I don't know what those are though." You played dumb.
