This is probably crap, but I tried... I hope it isn't as bad as I think it is...

"Why can't I go?" You grumbled, trying to resist the urge to sneeze.

"Because you're sick, and it's dangerous." Ran replied as she helped her father gather his things. Today was a big Kaitou Kid heist, for the Enchanted Dream emerald, and Kogoro had been invited. Unfortunately for you, you came down with a mild cold. Now, Ran was forcing you to stay behind with her.

"That's not fair!" You whined. "I've been looking forward to this for a week, and this can barely be called a cold!" You continued your adamant protest.

"It doesn't matter, you are staying here with me today." Ran stated, ending the conversation.

"If I was my normal size, you wouldn't be able to stop me." You mumbled under your breath, as you headed upstairs to find Conan. He'd been given permission to go with Kogoro, so long as he stayed out of the way. You didn't bother knocking on the door to the room he shared with Kogoro, before opening the door. The boy was sitting on the edge of his bed, studying something on his cellphone. He'd gotten distracted mid-changing.

He looked at you, before realizing he was shirtless. He held the discarded towel from his shower over his chest, and scowled. "Don't you know how to knock?" He grumbled.

"Why do you look so embarrassed? You have the body of a six year old." You snorted, before tossing him the button up shirt he'd left hanging on the door. "It's kinda hard for anyone to think you look hot when you're a scrawny brat who's abs were replaced with baby fat." You chuckled, as the boy buttoned up the shirt.

"What do you want?" He barked, already irritated by your snarky behavior.

"I want you to take me with you." You stated simply.

"You know that isn't going to happen. Ran is set on this." He sighed.

"Hence I want you to video chat with me." You hummed.

"What are you going on about?" He questioned, as he grabbed his bow-tie off of the bed, and put it on.

"You know how excited I've been for this case, so I don't want to miss it." You stated, as you tossed him his cellphone.

"Why would I do that? That will just get in the way." Conan grumbled.

"Come on!" You whined. "I'm not allowed to go out, so I want you to let me join the case somewhat! I can also try to help when you get stuck!" You suggested.

"If." Conan stated.

"When." You smirked. "Come on, please!" You pleaded, clasping your hands in front of your chest. "I'll do whatever you ask."

He raised an eyebrow at you. "After the last time you made that deal, I didn't think you'd do it again." He smirked. He was, of course, referring to the soccer ball juggling competition you'd had with him back in Osaka. You'd made sure he won (whether or not you could have beat him was irrelevant). You were trying to cheer him up, so you tossed your pride to the side. As such, he'd forced you to act like an actual seven year old for the whole week. It probably doesn't sound that bad, but it was extremely infuriating to play dumb when the teacher asked questions, not talk with a snarky attitude, and use his stupid ah-le-le techniques to help with cases. The only thing that got you through it was imagining you were disguised as someone else. Otherwise, your pride wouldn't have allowed it.

"Yeah, well that should tell you how much I want to be involved in this case." You replied.

Conan stopped getting ready, and turned to study your face. A slight pout covered your features, and your eyes would have put a puppy to shame (at least from his perspective). He let out a soft sigh. "Fine." He muttered. You fist pumped the air, a smile stretching across your face. "In return, I want you to stay here and take care of yourself. If I feel like the video chat is interfering with your recuperating, I'll shut it off." He stated, making you stop your childish bouncing. "Deal?"
