Sorry I've taken so long to update. I'm trying to find a new house, and I have to drive 4 hours to view them. Suffice to say I've been busy. Sorry!

House arrest! That's playing dirty, Judo. You thought to yourself with an angry grumble.
Kogoro had ordered Ran to stay home from the New Year's party. You could agree with that. The thing that pushed you over the edge was when that microscopic speck decided to convince Kogoro and Ran that you shouldn't go either. 'You need your rest.' They said. 'It's too dangerous.' They retorted. 'Stop trying to smother Conan with a pillow!' They insisted. It was all boring bullcrap!
"I see how it is! You're punishing me for trying to protect people! Had I just kept my trap shut, I would have been able to go!" You growled venomously.
"You know that isn't the case. You pushed yourself too far yesterday. You need rest." Conan sighed as he straightened his red bowtie.
"Fine, if that's the case. I pinky promise that I won't do anything the doctors told me not to do after my heart transplant!"
"Pinky promise? That's not exactly a signed contract."
"Well, I'm sorry. Do you want me to draft an official document for the matter, sign it, and then have it notarized?" You grumbled sarcastically.
Conan chuckled, then completed the pinky promise pact. "You have a promise, but I'm still not letting you go to the party."
You looked at him, feeling betrayed. "You snot nosed little brat! You just promised me!"
"Ah, if you remember, the promise didn't include anything about the party. Imprecise wording got the best of you, little fox." He chuckled.
Your mouth fell open in shock. "You puny piss-ant! You used my own tricks against me!"
"I'll see you later tonight. Behave yourself!" He shouted over his shoulder as he ran out the door, and climbed into the waiting taxi.
"Like hell I'll behave myself." You grumbled to yourself as you glared out the window. When the taxi pulled away, you ran to your room, locked the door, and jumped out the window. You half expected someone to call the cops when they saw an elementary schooler climbing out of a third floor window like it was normal. Which, for you, it was. You scrambled down the building, and raced towards the Suzuki mansion.

Conan fixed his glasses, and scanned the ballroom. The room was huge, with vaulted ceilings, and an extravagant set of windows covered half of the hall. There were very few women who were daring enough to attend the party, only a dozen women out of two hundred guests. Conan sighed, and rubbed the back of his head. How does he plan on taking out his targets this time? Nine women are in danger. Think!
"Don't think too hard, you might break something." A snarky voice snickered.
Conan spun around, fuming before he even saw the owner of the voice. "What the hell are you doing here?" He hissed under his breath.
"Wow, that's the greeting I get? I was worried." She grumbled.
"You shouldn't be here. You aren't well, and it's dangerous."
"As if that's ever stopped me." She chuckled.
"(Y/N), this isn't a joke! You're being reckless!" Conan growled under his breath.
"I'm not an idiot, but there are some things I need to take care of." She replied cryptically.
"Like what?"
