You sat up, and blearily rubbed your eyes. With a yawn, you rolled off the edge of the bed, your baggy shirt brushing your ankles. You'd spent the night at Kaito's place. He'd lent you a shirt since your clothes were soaked, and let you use his room.

Judo's probably fuming right now... he can get so upset over the smallest things... You thought to yourself, as you changed into your now dried clothes, and headed out of the room. Quietly, you made your way towards the kitchen, taking a moment to peak into the living room. Kaito was sprawled across the sofa, his legs splayed and his blanket tossed. He snored softly, resting peacefully.

With a smile, you headed towards the kitchen and set to work. You pulled a pan out of the cabinet, before dragging a chair over to the stove, and clambering on top of it. You placed the pan on the stove, before climbing back down to get ingredients. You continued, struggling to reach all of the required ingredients (sometimes needing to pull another chair around for a boost), and moving them over to the stove. After nearly half an hour of struggling, you finally managed to finish two fluffy omelets. With a satisfied nod, you headed to the living room to wake the sleeping thief.

It took a few minutes to stir the boy from his slumber. When he finally opened his eyes and looked at you, he smiled. "Eh, I wasn't sure you'd still be here." He yawned. "I figured Mr. Detective would have called you to go back by now."

"That'd be a bit difficult." You chuckled. "Since my phone took an unwanted bath, it's fried."

Kaito ran his fingers through his hair, as he pushed himself off the sofa. "No need to worry. I already had Jii take care of that for you last night." With a small puff, a cellphone, identical to your old one, materialized in his hand. "He got you a replacement, and already switched your number over. You might have lost a few contacts and photos, so you should probably check that later."

You took the phone from him, and beamed. "Thank you so much!"

"It wasn't a problem." Kaito shrugged.

"Well, I made you breakfast, so I hope that makes up for my intrusion." You said, with an apologetic smirk.

"As long as there's no fish, I won't turn down food." He stated, before leading the way to the kitchen.

"Dammit!" Conan hissed under his breath. After that damn thief had taken (Y/N), he'd been stuck dealing with police for hours. By time they'd finally finished, the next day had already begun. He let out a huff, as he finally pulled his phone from his pocket.

1 Unread Message

Conan unlocked his phone, and clicked on messages. It's from (Y/N), with an attachment. What, is she gonna try explaining herself, or is she just gonna poke fun at me again? Conan thought to himself with an annoyed scowl.

He clicked on the message.

We're having a blast together, so sad you couldn't join.

-Kaitou Kid

Conan grit his teeth. "Damn that thief." Conan half snarled. He clicked on the attachment, and froze. He felt his face heat up, and anger boiled in his chest. "Professor, we need to leave." Conan barked to the old man.

"Genta and Mitsuhiko had to use the restroom." Agasa called back.

"Tell them to hurry!"

"What's with the sudden urgency?" Haibara questioned in her bland tone.

"This is the last straw." Conan growled, as he sent a text of his own.

"So, how have things been going?" Kaito asked, as he cleaned up the dishes.
