Introducing the Infamous Kaitou Kid

After your little day trip to the little orphanage, Shinichi demanded that you stay at his place. He insisted on taking care of you, and he was overbearing about it. "What did Mother Superior tell you?" You constantly asked, but Shinichi always brushed off the question.

A week passed before he would let you walk around on your own and eat solid foods. Little did Shinichi know, when he left for school or work you ate what you wanted, and worked out.

"Hey, Celeste, you mind helping me with something?" Shinichi called from the study.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm coming." You mumbled. "What do you need?"

"I was wondering if you could help me look over a plan I made for a case." Shinichi asked.

"Sure, no problem. What's the case?" You yawned.

"It's a Kaitou Kid case. I was thinking that since you were a thief, and the two of you use similar gear you could help point out any flaws in my plan." Shinichi said with a sheepish grin.

You tried to hide your smile. "I'll see what I can do." You chuckled. You looked over the plans, and were quite impressed. The plans were impeccable. "I can honestly say that, alone, Kaitou Kid doesn't stand a chance." You smiled.

"Sweet! I guess I'd better get going then! Thanks, Celeste!" Shinichi shouted as he ran out the door.

You burst out laughing as soon as the coast was clear. "Sorry, Judo, but unfortunately for you, you've bored the hell out of me this past week." You grinned, as you ran to the little duffle bag you had hidden.

What is going on?! Kaitou Kid thought as he ran through the skyscraper. He was used to being chased by the police, but this was just absurd! It was like they knew his plans! "Damn! Kid cursed as more police cut off his exit. Are they getting help from someone?! Kid turned to run back from where he came, but he was surrounded. He whipped out his card gun, but a newbie officer did the unexpected, he fired his gun.

He would have been shot down then and there, had a figure not leapt out of nowhere in front of him. The figure was hit with the bullet, but didn't even slow down. Before the police had time to react, the figure leapt into action. The figure was cloaked in solid white, and wore a white and silver wolf half mask. "Who the..." Kid started to ask, but stopped short. The cloaked figure lunged towards the officer who had just fired, and swiftly knocked him and the others out.

Kid looked at the cloaked figure in confusion. "What's going on?"

The figure turned to Kid and smiled. "As I see it, if the police can get external help, why not the thief?"

"Who exactly are you?"

"I go by Quicksilver. I enjoy helping people like you."

"How did you know where to find me? For that matter, how do the police know my plans?"

"Unfortunately for you, Kuroba, you are matching wits against the real-life Sherlock Holmes, Shinichi Kudo."

"Is that so... I mean w-who's this Kuroba person?" Kid stuttered.

"Don't worry about it, your secret is safe with me~ The cameras are visual only, no audio. I knew where you were, because I know Kudo's plans. This was the place I figured you would get pinned, requiring you to stop and fight your way out, so I decided to wait here for you."

"Why would you decide to help me, knowing how well planned this Kudo is?"

"I know what your motive is. I guess you could say that we share motivations."
