Sorry that I've not updated in such a long time. I have no excuse. I apologize. I'm no longer capable of updating as frequently as before, so I can't, in clear conscience, tell you that the next update will be out soon.

Anyways,

Just so you know, I'm going to refer to football (as seen in most other countries) as soccer so as to avoid confusion should American football ever be included. Hopefully this won't cause any confusion.

Now then, on with the story!!!

-----------------------------

"I hate this." You growled, as you grumpily tossed a piece of cheese into your mouth.

"You seem pretty happy eating that cheese." Conan chuckled at you.

"I love the cheese, hate the setting." You groaned, as you bit into another cubed piece.

"If you're so unhappy, why'd you come?" Conan grumbled in reply.

"Because, there's something I have to do." You replied vaguely.

You ignored the boy, and turned your attention to the conversation Ran and Kazuha were having. "What's wrong with Heiji?" Ran asked the other girl.

"He's been really strange lately. He talks on the phone and says things like, 'are you on your own now?', 'It's not been exposed yet?', and 'If it's not convenient now, I'll call later.'!" Kazuha whispered.

"You couldn't be thinking...!" Ran started.

"He's having a secret affair!" Kazuha stated rather confidently.

It took everything in your power to keep from bursting into laughter, but a snort managed to escape. Conan glared at you. He knew why you were laughing, since he'd heard their conversation too. Still stifling the laughter, you nudged the boy in the ribs. "Say, given this little tryst of yours, should I call you a philanderer or a seductress?" You taunted the boy.

"Stop being weird." Conan snapped, clearly not enjoying this as much as you were.

"Hey, you shouldn't be surprised by it anymore." You replied with a shrug, the smirk still plastered on your face.

Before the boy could reply, the lights in the room dimmed. "Ladies and Gentlemen, give a round of applause to welcome the owners of the world chain restaurant K3, and also the special guests of tonight's party!" A man announced from the stage. You perked up, and looked towards the stage. "First is the unbeatable ex-heavyweight boxing champion of the world, Ricardo!" A stocky man with a goatee stepped onto the stage, giving a smile and a wave to the audience. "And the next is the player who obtained an award for a pitch of 160km/hr, Mickey!" A man with long dark hair and a handlebar mustache, emerged onto the stage. He gave a wave and a smile before joining Ricardo on the stage. You perked up as you got ready for the last one to arrive. "And, the last is the goalkeeper nicknamed the iron wall of Europe, Ray!" The blonde haired man you'd been waiting for stepped out to join his comrades.

You glanced over when Conan became giddy. "I told you it would be great." Heiji leaned over to the much smaller boy, a smile on both of their faces. If he gets any more excited, he might pop. You thought to yourself with a chuckle.

The announcer began to ask some questions, and everyone was surprised to see that Ray spoke pretty good Japanese. They began to explain the meaning of the three "K"s. The announcer, like most of the people, thought it stood for three kings, but Ray explained the true meaning.

"The first 'K' is for the KO in boxing. The next is for strikeout in baseball. The third is for the keeper in soccer." Ray explained for the other men.

"Aren't you forgetting one?" A voice called from the audience. "What about 'K' for Kitanai?" (A/N: For those of you who don't know, Kitanai means dirty in Japanese.)
