After breaking away from the others, you hurried to the main road. You scanned around, and found a hole in the wall souvenir shop. You went in, and found a softball sized dog plushie with a sandbag bottom. You purchased it, and a pocket sewing kit, before hurrying back outside. As you ran back to Attorney at Lie's home, you cut a hole in the seam along the foot, and along the mouth. You slid a small speaker into the mouth and a microphone in the foot, before crudely stitching it closed.

You stopped outside the door to slow your panting, before you rang the doorbell once again. A moment later, the door was pulled open. Attorney at Lie looked down at you. "Is something the matter?" She asked.

"No, not at all!" You chirped childishly. "I just remembered I was supposed to take a survey for school! I was hoping you could help me really quickly!"

"O-of course." She nodded slowly.

"Great!" You smiled, before pulling out a slip of scrap paper from your pocket. "I'm supposed to ask pet owners questions. So, number one. Do you like cats or dogs more?" You asked.

"Cats." She answered curtly.

"Check." You muttered, putting on the act quite well. "Next, if you had to get a different pet, and exotic one, what would you get?"

"P-probably another breed of cat." She chuckled nervously.

"Check... Alright, last thing!" You chimed. "Can I see your pet so I can give a description?"

"Sure." Attorney at Lie replied, before walking in the house a ways to get the feline.

While she walked, you talked. You raised your voice, making sure to project your words. "I've always heard bad things about cats being evil creatures, but I've never had one to tell. My friend Judo doesn't believe me, but I met a dog once that had a really spikey head. It's hair was all POOF!" You laughed childishly, acting out the sound effect with your hands. "The dog was really bad at staying focused, but he was harmless. It was taken away by the pet collector guys, so I'm a little worried about him."

"I'm sure he'll be just fine." The woman cut you off, probably annoyed by your childish ramblings. "Here she is." The woman returned, and held the cat out for you to examine.

You studied the feline, and took some 'notes', before stuffing the piece of paper and pen back into your pocket. "Thanks a lot, lady!" You chirped innocently. "Oh, before I forget!" You pulled out the plushie, and held it out to the woman. "I was told by my teacher that I should give everyone something for troubling them. So, here you go! It doesn't really work for a cat toy, but I figured you could use it to keep yourself company!" You smiled. "Anyway, I should get going. Have a great day!" You called, before turning and heading down the path. You turned out of the gate, and quickly put the earbud of your mp3 player in your ear. You pressed the power button three times in a row, and the screen flickered to the wavelength.

Nothing but white noise came through at first, but then you heard what you were hoping for.

"Well, are you ready to work?" Attorney at Lie's voice buzzed over the speaker. "To Osaka's renowned high school detective, Heiji Hattori, this should be as easy as simple math."

You slid your phone out of your pocket, and texted Conan. I'm telling you, this woman is dangerous! You sent. Beside the message, the sending changed to sent, then read, but no message returned. "Dammit!" You cursed under your breath. "He thinks I'm just being stupid, so I guess I'm on my own..."
