Since this is the first time the language differences have come into play, I'll put all other languages in plain bold. If that gets too confusing, just let me know!

Today was a special day. Unlike your usual bored, and dreary day, today you were doing something different. Today you were going skiing with the Detective Boys. It was the first time you'd gone skiing, and for the first time in a long time you were filled with childish joy. You glanced across the aisle of the bus, and smiled at the little brats and the professor.

"How does the old man plan on skiing when he's sick?" You questioned aloud to Conan and Haibara who were in the same seat with you.

"I tried to warn him, but he insisted on watching that 'How to Ski' video." Haibara sighed.

"What I want to know, is why you insisted on sitting in the same seat with us." Conan glowered at you.

"What? I didn't want to sit alone, do you have a problem with that?" You asked from your seat by the window.

"What are you talking about, you'd have been right in front of us." Conan grumbled.

"Hold on a second, I see what's going on here." You snickered. "You're uncomfortable being sandwiched between Haibara and me." You poked him on his forehead. "If you don't like it, you can move. I'm quite comfortable with my seat." You grinned at his look of annoyance.

Conan sighed defeatedly, and looked out the window. He had a bored look on his face, the same look you usually wore. "You look bored." Haibara smirked at him. "Looks like you could use a case or two to solve."

"What?" Conan mumbled.

"Or, maybe you want to run into them again." She continued.

"Baka. I don't want to run into them on a bus with kids on it."

You stopped paying attention, as was your specialty. Instead, you began to study each person that boarded the bus. You were always on high alert, but this was more of a casual curiosity. One man that boarded caught Conan's eye, but you didn't sense any malice from him. Another man stepped on. He wore a cough mask, and had a strange look in his eye. It wasn't one that sent a chill up your spine (like the Blood Rose Butcher's or Gin's), but instead made you curious. Something about him shouted that he wasn't normal, but for some reason you weren't fearful of him. A few more people climbed onto the bus, and you noticed Haibara tense.

You leaned past Conan, and looked at her. "Are you alright?" You whispered so only her and Conan would hear you.

"S-switch seats with me." She hissed. She looked up just enough to meet your eyes. The look in her eyes made you freeze. It was a look you knew all too well. You'd seen it in your own eyes a number of times, usually in the blade of a knife.

"Alright." You replied. You quickly stepped to the side, so she could take your seat, then you passed her and Conan to take her seat. There was no need to ask her any questions; her expression said it all. They were here, somewhere. You glanced at the people who had just come on.

Conan looked between Haibara and you, confusion in his eyes. He was going to ask, when one of the people that had just gotten on spotted him. "We meet again, Cool Kid." The woman smiled. She looked to be pretty young, probably not over 30. She had light brown/dirty blonde hair, and pale blue eyes.

"You know her?" You asked the boy.

"She's Ran's English teacher." He replied in the kiddish voice he used when others were around.
