It wasn't long before you caught up with the brats. "What the hell are you still here for?" You hissed, doing your best to keep your anger in check.

They were dawdling at another crossroad. There were four paths from what you could tell, and one divot in the wall. "C-Conan wont wake up." Ayumi whimpered fearfully. You walked up to Genta, and pressed your fingers into the side of Conan's neck.

"He's not dead, he just passed out." You reassured her. Shit! Now of all times. Why do I have to deal with these three brats alone?! You wanted to scream at the unconscious boy.

"He said something about following the path of the dragon." Mitsuhiko mumbled nervously.

So, he figured out where the exit is. You thought to yourself. "I don't have time to figure it out right now. For now, I want you three to go down to the very end, and hide in the divot in the wall." You instructed the kids.

"But we'll be trapped!" Genta yelped.

"Just shut up, and listen!" You snapped, regaining their full attention. You took a deep breath to once again suppress the growing anger bubbling inside of you like an unstable volcano. "I'll try to lead them away. You need to get out of here, and get Conan to a hospital. He isn't doing well." You stated, putting a sense of urgency in their minds.

"W-what about you?" Ayumi whispered weakly.

"I already told you what I'm going to do."

"That's not what she means! What if they catch you?" Mitsuhiko piped in.

"If they catch me I suppose it means game over, but I don't plan on going down alone." You growled. "Now, move. They'll be here any second." The kids did what you instructed, and tucked out of sight. You mentally evaluated all of the different tunnels, and decided on one that you assumed to be the shortest. You decided, just as the four remaining men rounded the corner.

"Hold it right there you little brat." The man, who you believed to be the leader, spat.

"So, you four are what's left." You chuckled, making sure to keep the stone pedestal between you and the men. "I already took care of your little friend, so who is next?" You taunted the men.

"You expect me to believe you beat Markus." The leader growled.

"You don't believe I could? How ignorant of you." You grinned. In one swift motion, you pulled out one of your throwing knives, and threw it straight through the bulb on the leader's flashlight. You immediately replaced the knife with another, and twirled it between your fingers.

"What the hell?" One of the men shouted.

"You little brat!" Another grumbled.

"Do your worst." You hummed, as you sprinted down the middle tunnel to your left. You didn't stop to see if anyone was following you. You simply ran to the end of the tunnel, and vanished into the shadows.

One of the remaining four men ran down the tunnel after you (the one who'd called you a brat). You once again used a throwing knife to shatter the bulb, plunging the man into complete darkness. You rushed from your hiding place, sticking low to the ground. With one of your knives in your right hand, you rushed behind the man, and dragged the razor sharp blade across the back of his ankle. There was a snap, followed by his scream of agony. You wiped away the blood that had splashed in your face, and watched as the man toppled over. "I just severed your left Achilles tendon. It's not fatal, but it hurts like hell." You whispered to the man, as you stalked towards his forsaken gun. You activated the gun's safety, and secured the gun in your belt. "With a year or so of hospitals and physical therapy, you should be able to walk again. Next time, don't assume someone's capabilities based on size."
