Rin was going stir crazy. Playing the goofy little kid was more exhausting than one would expect. The worst part was playing dumb. Sure, it was fun to do when she was messing with people, but not cause she had to.

Due to the constant pressure, she was on the verge of snapping. Normally when she hit this point she'd have gone on a heist, but she couldn't exactly do that so freely anymore.

Conan had watched her slowly become more and more cross with each passing day. He'd come to the realization that something had to be done when she'd become snippity towards their teacher.

Rin had taken a nap during class. The teacher had shouted at her for sleeping, and Rin decided to let loose. She'd looked at the teacher and said, "I wouldn't find it so difficult to stay awake if you managed to teach me something less repetitive and boring."

In response the teacher had asked her if she could solve a math problem. It was simple multiplication. 5×10.

Rin looked at the teacher, and said, "Is that meant to be some sort of challenge. It's 50. You woke me up for some rudimentary math."

That response, understandably, irked the teacher. A twenty minute math trivia began, with the teacher asking Rin equation after equation. The one that caused the biggest problem was 12×17.

Rin's response? "I could answer that, but that doesn't mean that I will. It is a waste of my time. I could easily tell you that the answer is 204. I could show you that my answer is correct with a simple long division problem. I could also solve any math equation you threw at me, but it all comes down to the fact that I don't give a shit."

That little outburst got Rin sent to the principal's office. She ended up receiving an hour long lecture, and lost her recess privileges for two days. Unfortunately, that just spoiled her mood even more.

Finally, Conan decided to do something.

"Hey, Rin, do you want to go for a walk in town?" He prompted.

"Nah, I'm good. Not really in the mood for it." She mumbled as she flicked through the T.V. channels.

"We can do whatever you want." He tempted.

That caught her attention. She looked away from the remote. "Anything I want?"

"Yep. We can do absolutely anything you want. Let's just go out and enjoy ourselves." He smiled, victory already in his grasp.

"Alright, I'll bite. What's the occasion?" She glared at him skeptically.

"No occasion! I just want to get out. I'm growing bored, and I'm sure Ran wouldn't be alright with me leaving without you." He fibbed.

She raised an eyebrow at him. "Fine. I'll meet you downstairs. I need to change really quickly."

"Take your time!" Conan called after her, as she skipped to her room. So far, so good. He thought to himself with a half smirk.

It didn't take her long to get dressed, so within five minutes they were strolling down the street. "So, where to first?" Conan asked with a smile.

"You're gonna think I'm being stupid..." She mumbled nervously.

"Come on, I highly doubt that! What are you wanting to do?" Conan probed.

"Well... I'd like to get some new clothes. Ran says I look good in clothes just to make me feel better, but I feel like you'll be honest with me." She had an embarrassed blush on her cheeks.

"Of course! I'd be more than happy to help." In all honesty, he hated shopping, but if it made her happy it was worth it. He needed to get her mind off of everything.
