Chapter 5

Kara's Point of View.
Ten Years Later.

I woke up to my alarm blaring in my ears. I groaned as I got up. I then did a couple stretches before super speeding around my apartment. I took a shower, brushed my teeth, brushed my hair, and put on a yellow dress with a brown belt. I smiled as I looked at myself in the mirror. Today was Barry's graduation party from college. A lot of people were invited. Me and Winn actually work together at CatCo Worldwide Media. I am Cat Grants assistant. I already told Ms.Grant that me and Winn were not going to be at work today. I then got a knock on my door. I used my x-ray vision to see Winn. I was fourteen when I meet Barry, Winn, and everyone else, but I still haven't told them I'm an alien. Now I'm twenty four and they all still don't know the truth. I sighed as I opened the door for Winn.

He was wearing a nice jacket with a cute little bow tie. We greeted each other with a hug.

"Kara! You look amazing.", Winn implied.

"Thanks Winn. You look great too.", I replied.

"So, you excited to be seeing the whole gang again?"

"Yeah. It's been too long since we've been under one roof."

"Yeah. So, who else are we waiting on?"

"Alex and Eliza. Alex is picking Eliza up."

"Your foster mother and foster sister in a space together, alone. When has that ever not gone wrong?"

I knew he was being sarcastic but I ignored it as I could hear Alex and Eliza's footsteps from the end of the hallway. I coughed and sighed as I looked at Winn.

"Brace yourself Winn. This could get ugly at any moment.", I said.

Winn shook his head as Alex and Eliza came in.
