Me and Kara went to Star Labs. Everyone was there from yesterday, but now it included Clark and Lois.
"So how does this work?", I asked.
"I will vibe you to that night.", Cisco said. "And we will look at the news report from that night, May 23 in 2017, and see what leads up to that night."
"Ok." I took a deep breath in. "Let's do this."
"Barry.", Kara said. "Whatever happens. Remember that I am still here."
I nodded as me and Cisco got attached to the machine. Caitlin pressed the button and me and Cisco went into a vibe. We were back on that street.
"What do you see?", Caitlin's voice asked.
"We are on Infantino Street.", Cisco said.
"There's the news report.", I said.
"What's the by-lines say?", Lois' voice asked.
"Music Mister gets a music book deal.", I said reading them. "Luigi's opens after murder. Joe West honored at City Hall. Killer Frost still at large. Star Labs museum closes. Where has Supergirl gone? City still recovering following gorilla attack."
"Don't!", said future me. I watched the scene unfold again. "Don't do this."
"Finally you will know what it feels like!", Savitar yelled.
"Look.", Cisco said. "Alex is on the roof."
"The future has changed.", I said.
"Barry.", future Kara said. "I-I love you."
"No.", future me said. "Please."
"You lose Flash!", Savitar yelled.
"No!"
Savitar then stabbed Kara through the heart.
"We should go.", Cisco said.
I nodded as went out of the vibe. Kara looked at me with sympathetic eyes.
"If we can change the by-lines, we can change the future.", Clark said.
"Challenge excepted.", Wally said.
"At least we changed one event.", I said. I wrote Kid over the Flash for the plunder line. "He was caught by Kid Flash. That changes one. Now we just need to change them all."
And we will.

Kara's Point of View The Next Day

When Barry came out of the vibe, I could tell he hated watching me die again. I looked at Barry with sympathetic eyes.
