Steve made Bucky get a check up because 'Being frozen isn't good for you, Buck.' So here he was, sitting in a doctor's office waiting for some nurse to take blood.
"Mr. Barnes, I can't find a vein. Is this the arm you normally get blood drawn from?" She asked.
   Bucky nodded.
"Are you sure? Maybe I should try the other one." She said.
"If you can find it in a ravine in Europe." He said.
   "Excuse me?" The nurse asked.
Bucky pushed up his jacket sleeve to show a metal arm. The nurse gasped and almost dropped the needle. She was silent as she finally found a vein and drew blood.

Later, a different nurse came in to take his blood pressure. She wrapped the cuff around his left arm without looking. When the machine wouldn't work she hit it a few times.
"This stupid thing isn't working." She said, still not looking at the metal arm.
   "It's my arm." Bucky said.
"No, I think it just needs a new battery." The nurse said.
"It's my arm." Bucky said again.
"Okay. I'll try the other one if it'll make you happy." She turned around and looked at the metal arm for the first time.
She moved the blood pressure cuff to Bucky's other arm and got a reading. Then she left. People seemed to not want to talk to him with the metal arm.

When his check up was over, the first nurse came back and gave him a sticker. It looked like Steve's shield. The nurse put the sticker over the place she'd drawn blood.
