Broken White Boys and Science Children

   "This is an amazing lab, princess." Tony said.
   "Thank you." Shuri replied. "I built most of it myself."
   As they continued the tour of the lab, something triggered one of Tony's anxiety attacks. Shuri looked at him once, walked off, and returned with a Panther Helmet she'd designed.
   "Put it on." She commanded.
   Tony did so and almost immediently calmed down. "What was that?" He asked.
   "Something I designed for my father." Shuri replied, taking the helmet back. "It's a prototype, but he never got a chance to use it."
   "Prototype? We don't have anything this advanced." Tony said.
   "The Vibranium is proven to calm anxiety and reduce heart rate if under certain conditions."
   "I have an internship for college students, if you want to come talk to them..."
   "Talk to them? I would be honored. I can make you a personalized helmate if you want."
   "Yeah. That'd be great."
   "How soon can I come talk to your interns?" Shuri asked.
   "As soon as you want. We meet every weekday." Tony said. "How soon can I get the helmet?"
   "I can have it ready by tomorrow." Shuri said.

   Monday
   "We have a guest speaker today." Tony said. "Please give a warm welcome to... Princess Shuri, daughter of T'Chaka."
   When she and Everett Ross and Bucky (who were acting as body guards) walked in, there were confused looks. Nobody had ever heard of her before and she looked younger than 16. She waved at Peter (who was actually interning now). Everyone stared at him because he was the only high schooler, was really close with Mr. Stark, and obviously knew this girl personally.
   "I am Princess Shuri, I am sixteen, and..." She stopped when people started to snicker. "Who is the oldest intern here?"
   A man in his late twenties raised his hand. "I'm 27." He said.
   "Have you ever built an Ironman helmet?" She asked the guy.
   "No. Have you?" He asked disrespectfully.
   "Lee, she is a pr-" Tony started.
   "The youngest?" She asked before adding, "Not you, Peter."
   "I'm 22." A girl in the back said.
   "Have you built an Ironman helmet?" She asked.
   "We're just interns." The girl said.
   "Peter, have you helped with an Ironman helmet?"
   "Yes, ma'am. Miss Princess Shuri... ma'am." He said.
   "And how old are you?"
   "I just turned 17. Princess, ma'am."
   "Have any of you besides Peter helped build an Ironman helmet?"
   "Have you?" Lee asked again.
   "I built one from scratch."
   "Show us." Someone said.
   "Do you not believe me?" She asked.
   "I don't believe Parker helped with a helmet." Grant Thompson said.
   "I thought oldest siblings were supposed to be the smart ones." Peter muttered.
   "I heard that." Grant muttered.
   Bucky handed Shuri the helmet she'd designed. Everett moved his jacket to reveal a standard issue gun. She handed it to Tony who took it with amazement. He stared at it, put it on, and left it on for a couple of minutes. He finally took it off and had a look of awe on his face.
   "This is amazing." He said. "You got this done in a day?"
   "Yes." Shuri said. Then she turned to adress the interns again. "Why do you laugh when I say I am a princess?"
   The room was so silent that you could hear a pin drop. Shuri stared at the ones who'd mocked her and avoided the eyes of the ones who didn't. Several people turned away at her glare. She only broke her stare when Everett touched her arm.
   "Now, I'm going to continue my lesson. If you can't keep up, feel free to leave at any time."

   Only a handful of people stayed until the end. The thing that got so many to leave was giving out the algorithems used in the Black Panther suit and the new Ironman helmet. Those who stayed until the end were basically begging for an autograph. Tony was proud of her and, after the lesson, asked if she would show him how to make the rest of his suit like she'd made the helmet.
   She would have stayed longer, but Bucky said that T'Challa said to leave no later than 6:00 and it was almost 8:30.

   The first time Tony used the new helmet, he noticed an engraving where it connected to the rest of the suit. It was hard to tell, but it looked like it said 'Welcome to the Broken White Boiz Club'. He laughed to himself.
   "FRIDAY, send a message to Princess Shuri. Say 'Welcome to the Army of Science Children'."
   "Message sent, sir."
