Cecil's POV
"Strex Corp has been terrorizing Night Vale for weeks now. The rebellion mostly failed, but we're alive and Khoshekh is safe now. Strex raided the town a few hours ago and people are still looking for survivors. I have a list of confirmed dead.
"Carly Green. Anna Thompson. Intern Marcie. Bob Stonewell. Frank Oswald. Percy Chase. Natasha Everdeen. Peter Fourth. Intern Stanley. Harry Granger. Dudley Potter. Tad Strange. Matilda Mellville. Jean Finch. Louise Scout. George Big. Lennard Green. Veronica Quinn. Regan Gray. Esmerelda Lee.
     "I have a list of those missing as well. If you can confirm that they are dead or alive, please contact the station immedently. Among those who are missing are;
"Greg Harris. Harrion Moore. Avery Fuller. Lucas Dunn. Kaitlyn Jones. Traci Biffle. Amber Evans. Dan McLemore. Summer Beavers. Mackenzie Davis. Makenzi McWay. Emma Diver. Cam Johnson. Erin Tulle. Austin Kress. Madilyn Lamb. Dustin Mansell. Alexis Thompson. Avery Holt. Travis Adomyetz. Bronson Campbell. Kutter Dean. Michael Adame. Carlos...
"Listeners, Carlos is missing. I... just go to the weather."
I put my head in my hands. Strex hurt Khoshekh, tried to take over the radio station, and now they have Carlos. An intern, I didn't see who brought me a box of tissues. The weather ended, but I didn't care. Strex was going to fall, even if it brought the town down with it.

Carlos's POV
I woke up in a dark room. I had manacles on my wrists that were chained to the floor. I could stand up, but had to keep my hands down and it was more confortable to sit. I didn't know where I was and I didn't remember how I got there. My head hurt really bad and I reached up to touch it. My hand came away sticky with blood. Suddenly, a door opened and Cecil walked in. I couldn't see his face, but I knew it was him.
"Cecil," I said. "Where am I? How did I get here?"
Cecil laughed. He stepped closer to me and bent down. I still couldn't see his face well. He turned his head, smiled, and spoke.
"I'm not Cecil." He said. "I'm Kevin, and it's a good thing you're finally awake." His voice was too high to be Cecil's. He smelled different too. Instead of the radio station, Khoshekh, and whatever that smell was, this man smelled like blood. Like he'd taken a bath in blood.
     "Where am I?" I asked.
"You're in Desert Bluffs. Strexcorp is going to use you to bring Night Vale down. If you cooperate, you probably won't die." Kevin said. His smile widened and I saw the shadows of pointed teeth. "It's so dark in here. I'm going to turn on the light."
Kevin stood up and crossed the room. He stuck his arm out the door and flipped a switch. The lights turned on and I could see where I was. It looked just like the back room of the radio station excpt for the chains and the blood. Kevin turned around and I screamed.
His eyes, if he even had any, were black and were crying blood. His third eye had been sewn shut. The corners of his mouth had been cut into a permanent smile and he was covered in blood. He was a spitting image of Cecil save for the knife work on his face.
"That wasn't very nice." Kevin said. "How would you like it if I screamed every time I saw you?"
"Let me go." I said. It came out weak and Kevin laughed.
"Why would I do that? You're here so we can take over Night Vale." Everything he said was errily cheerful.
He turned and walked out. He closed the door and turned off the lights. My heart started pounding. I couldn't breathe. I ran my hands through my hair before putting my head in my hands. I was getting out of here one way or another, even if I brought Night Vale down with me.

Kevin's POV
"Hello listeners. I have a wonderful supprise for you today. Are you ready?"
"We sure are, Kevin." Lauren said.
"I have a message for Cecil Palmer. Cecil, are you listening?"
"I think he's listening, Kev." Lauren said.
     "Don't call me Kev."
     "Sure thing, Kevin."
"Anyway, Cecil, we have the one thing you care about more than Night Vale."
"Give him a hint." Lauren said. "Call him." She mouthed to Intern Damien. Intern Damien gave her a thumbs up.
"You get one hint, Cecil. He has perfect hair and teeth like a military cemetary." I said.
"Caller number one, you're on the air." Lauren said as the phone line flashed.
     "Is this Cecil?" I asked.
"Give me Carlos back." Cecil said.
"Let me think about it." I said.
"Now, Kevin." Cecil said. "Give him back."
"Nah, I think I'll keep him for a little while longer."
"How long?" I think I detected a sob in his voice.
"Oh, just until Night Vale surrenders." I said.
"Night Vale-" Cecil was cut off and a female voice started talking.
"Night Vale will never surrender as long as you have one of ours in captivity." A teenage girl said.
"Who am I speaking to?" I asked.
     "Tamika Flynn." The girl said.
"Well, Tamika, Night Vale doesn't have to surrender." I said, my smile widening as I nailed Cecil's coffen. "But Cecil Palmer does. I take you all to the weather."
"I think that went well." Lauren said.
"No one asked for your feed back, Lauren." I said before walking away. I was about to torture Carlos. The thought made me as happy as when I first started collecting teeth. "Do the last half of the show would you, I have things to do."
