Peter's POV
Today was the night of the Homecoming game/dance. Everyone was dressed up for Superhero day. I was wearing a Batman shirt, Ned was wearing a Superman shirt, and we convinced MJ to wear one with the Wonderwoman logo. It was right after lunch when the alarm went off. The principal came over the loud speaker to tell us that this was not a drill. We hid in a corner of the classroom, waiting. When we heard gunshots, Ned passed a note asking if I was going to do anything. I nodded and got the Iron Spider suit out of my backpack. People gasped, everyone still believed Flash's lie that he was Spiderman.
I ran into the hallway, the teacher whisper yelling for me to come back. I wasn't surprised to find a kid a little older than me holding the gun. He hadn't seen me, so I slowly walked closer. Someone at the end of the hall slammed a door. The kid turned, seeing me for the first time. I shot a web a grabbed the gun. The guy ran at me.
"Should I activate instant kill mode?" Karen asked.
"No." I said. "Karen, that can't be your solution to everything."
He was about to run into me. I jumped onto the wall. I climbed onto the ceiling and shot webs at his feet. He was stuck in place.
"Karen, call Mr. Stark." I told her.
   "Calling Mr. Stark." She said.
The kid took off his shoes and jumped. He couldn't reach me, but he could now run away. I webbed his feet again.
"What's up, kid?" Mr. Stark asked. "Is everything okay. Why are you in your suit?"
"School shooting. I've got him webbed up, be he could take off his socks and run." I said before hanging up.
"Let me go!" The kid shouted.
"I can't do that." I said. He started pulling off his socks.
"I want going to kill anybody. I just wanted to scare some people." He said. One sock was off. I webbed his foot.
"You can't do that." I said, climbing off the ceiling. "Why did you do it in the first place?"
"Bullies." The kid said. "Give me the gun back. It's my dad's."
"I can't do that." I said. I tossed the gun up and webbed it to the top of the wall.
He got his other sock off and I webbed his foot as he tried to run. He face planted and I webbed his hands.

It was about ten minutes before the police showed up. Mr. Stark got there right as I webbed the kid to the floor.
After to police left, everyone came into the hall. My teacher came out and started yelling at me.
"Peter Parker. Do you know how stupid that was. You could have been killed. How would I explain to your aunt what happened. You could have gotten us all killed." She would have kept going but Mr. Stark interrupted her.
"Nobody was killed. The kid saved you all." He said.
It was silent for a few seconds, then murmurs spread. The ones I picked up were mostly good.
   "Peter is Spiderman?"
"We should have know when he said he knew Spidey."
"Do you think he knows Captain America?"
   "I can't believe he's Spiderman. Now I'll be a laughing stock."
   "That explains so much."
"I can't believe he is Spiderman."
   "At least we're alive."
Ned broke away from the crowd and walked up to me. MJ was behind him. I took my mask off and she slapped me.
"What was that for?" I asked.
"For not telling me. And missing the meet." She said.
"Not so good with the secret identity thing are you?" Ned laughed.
   "Nope." I said.
"We're leaving now." Mr. Stark said.
The four of us went to the Stark Tower. Mr. Stark turned on the news. I was on the news. Then I got a text from Aunt May. I guess the Mind Stone worked.
