Carlos had just finished off another notebook. He put it aside to put in his box of notebooks in the closet. He pulled another one out of the pocket of his lab coat. When he was done for the day, he grabbed the old notebook and went to the bedroom. He pulled a big cardboard box off the top shelf in the closet. He had notebooks dating back to his first day of high school. He had a system for organizing them. Science notebooks had black covers with science stickers on them, journals had a bookmark of some sort and were smaller than the others. Scrapbook notebooks were colorul and usually had a date written on the cover. Notebooks used for notes in high school were five-subject notebooks.
Three other boxes were in the closet at the end of the hall. A bookshelf with five shelves on the back wall of the bedroom was filled with notebooks. Those are mostly journals, a few of them are scrapbooks. Some times when Cecil can't sleep, he'll get one and read it. Tonight, Cecil couldn't sleep. He got one of Carlos's notebooks off the shelf and sat back down to read it. It was from right when Carlos came to Night Vale.

I've just arrived in a town called Night Vale. I've noticed a few interresting things. First, time works wierd. I arrived at noon, but twenty minutes later, it was still noon. Another twenty minutes later it was almost 5:00. Second, there are vibrations, but no one can feel them. They are strong enough to be an earthquake, but they aren't reaching the surface. Third, the radio host's voice is very nice. Fourth, after the weather report today, the song, 'Waiting for the Bus in the Rain' is stuck in my head.

A giant glowing cloud is raining dead animals. This town is so scientifically interresting. I still can't figure out why time is so wierd here. I was listening to the radio today. I really like the host's voice. I hope I get to meet him. They have an Arby's and a Ralph's, but besides that, it's mostly local buisness.

I don't know what was wrong with my notebook last week, but I wasn't able to write in it. It was literally impossible. Instead of writing, I listened to the night part of the radio. I didn't like that host as much. I don't think I'll listen to it at night again.

It made Cecil happy that Carlos liked his voice. He skipped ahead to their first date. He wanted to see it from Carlos's perspective.

I went on a date with Cecil tonight. We sat under the Arby's sign for awhile. His voice is even better in person. I really hope it works out, I really like him. I drove him home. I don't know what possessed me to kiss him, but I wouldn't do anything differently. I'm glad it was dark in the car because I was smiling like an idiot. I went home and put everything from tonight in another notebook. I wanted to make sure I never forgot what happened. <3 <3 <3 :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Cecil was glad Carlos couldn't see the stupid smile on his face. Cecil hugged the notebook to his chest. Carlos was so perfect and Cecil couldn't ask for anyone better. He put the notebook back on the shelf and went to sleep happy.

I was smiling like an idiot myself writing this. I hope you Night Vale fans enjoy. If you're not a Night Vale fan, put your OTP in instead and I highly reccomend WTNV. Sorry for spelling errors. :)
