Bakugou's POV
“Good night." I said to Eijirou before walking to my room.
“Good night!” He called after me. We had been roommates for a little over a year now.

At breakfast the next morning, Eijirou looked to see how many of class 1-A was left. We were disappearing one by one.
“Besides us, there’s no one left. The last person was kidnapped last night.” Eijirou said, looking up from his phone.
     “Todoroki?” I asked.
“Yeah. I don’t think it was coincidental either. One of his sidekicks said he’d been acting weird for a few months.”
“The one person with the backstory to be a villain. Todoroki’s probably helping him.” I said.
I stood up from the table and started pacing. If Todoroki was helping Deku, that meant he was probably looking for us.
“At least people still say his name.” Eijirou said, returning his attention to his cereal.
I sighed. Todoroki was still a hero, the number two hero. People would say his name, they would say his father’s name, and they would say that the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. That was probably why Deku recruited him in the first place. The worst torture he could use on Todoroki is making him like his father.
I started to walk to my room. “I’m going to stop Deku once and for all.”
Eijirou’s eyes widened before he stood up and grabbed my arm. “Katsuki, you are not going after the most wanted villain alone.”
“I’m not. If Half and Half is helping Deku, I’m going to need help. Get suited up.”
Eijirou reluctantly let go of my arm and walked to his room. I went to mine and put my hero costume on. We met up at the front door with weapons in our hands. I had grenades strapped to my back and Eijirou had knives in his hands.
“There’s a reason Deku is the number 1 villain.” I said as I opened the door.
As we walked, I explained how All Might gave Deku his quirk. Then, almost as if they were waiting for me to finish my story, Deku and Todoroki ambushed us. Todoroki froze my hands from behind and Deku tripped Eijirou and pinned him to the ground.
“So, I’ve joined the dark side.” Todoroki said. “Didn’t take much… persuasion, if you know what I mean.” He smirked and looked at Deku.
“The dark side?” I asked. “What is this, a movie?”
“A little help?” Deku asked, ignoring me.
Todoroki froze Eijirou to the ground and Deku stood up. He walked over to me and smiled. If things were different, that smile wouldn’t be as terrifying, it would be the next symbol of peace. Instead, it sent shivers down my spine.
When I was shoved forward, I realized that the shiver was from Todoroki’s hand, encasing all the extra grenades strapped to my back, in ice. I fell, only because Deku pulled my feet out from under me as I lost my balance. My hands were too cold to use my quirk, so I face planted onto the concrete. Todoroki covered me in ice.
Deku laughed, but Todoroki… Todoroki had always been straight faced, but this was different. It was like all of his emotions had been removed. That’s probably what the sidekick had been talking about when they said he was different. He seemed to be waiting for Deku to tell him what to do.
“So… Shouto has a good reason for being a villain with his father and everything… but I just find it fun!” Deku leaned down and whispered into my ear. Then he stood up again. “Now, I’m sure you know I was waiting until you came looking for me.”
I didn’t know that, but I had some suspicions. Why else would he wait so long? I didn’t say anything, but that was all the information Deku needed.
“So, I was waiting because if the top three heros suddenly became villains, that would look bad on me, but if I ‘torture’ you for a few weeks…” Deku trailed off after making finger quotes around the word ‘torture.’ It made me wonder what he did to Todoroki. Todoroki wasn’t moving around like Deku was, he was waiting for orders.
“Ground Zero is the number one hero, but also number one on the ‘Heros that look like they should be villains’ list." Todoroki said. “Now, Red Riot, number three, on the other hand…” He wasn’t using the same tone of voice that Deku was, but his statement sounded like the orders he was following.
“We can try to bring the anger back out on Kacchan. For Kirishima… I think I should wait to tell you when they can’t escape.” Deku said. “Knock him out.”
Then Deku walked over to me. I was lying on my stomach, covered in ice. Deku hit me in the back of the head and everything went black.
