"Sorry, Potterheads, today on Book on Deathrow, I'm going to be defending the Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer." Ben said.
He was sitting in a large chair. Sitting on the table next to him was the Twilight Saga and a mug of tea. Behind him was a bookshelf with ghost stickers on it.
"So, a lot of people say that Twilight is poorly written. They say that Bella is a Mary Sue. They say a lot of things. Today, I'm going to defend it." Ben said. "I personally think that the books are pretty good. I haven't seen the movies yet, but I think that's why people give Twilight so much hate. As for it being badly written, why don't you try to write a book? It's hard. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Twilight was the first book Stephenie Meyer wrote, so cut her a little slack."
Ben picked took a drink of his tea, looking right into the camera.
"Potterheads, I know you all hate Twilight, but may we take a quick recess to point out that at least Ms. Meyer isn't blowing up everyone's Twitter saying that Dobby was into Bondage. Anyway I think we should get into the ship wars."
Ben pet a dog in his lap like a villian in a movie while mocking evil laughter.
"So. Let's start out by looking at the two ships. Bella and Edward or Bella and Jacob. Let's put it into the real world, no vampires or werewolves. Edward is the sad theater boy and the spoiled rich boy. He falls for the new girl. Jacob is either the weird homeschooled kid or the kid from another district. You know those districts that are just weird, one of those districts. He probably played football in elementary school. He's going to take over the family business. Bella is the new girl. She's a good girl who doesn't want to be labled as a good girl.
"I'm not getting into the war today, but I think either way you look at it, Bella is kind of a messed up girl. If we look at it from a real world standpoint again, Bella's options are the 'guy from another school' or the 'guy in all her classes.' So, for my closing arguement, Potterheads are blowing how bad the books are out of the water. Twihards, keep reading what you like." Ben finished. "Comment what book you want me to defend next. If you liked this video, like and subscribe."
