"So how'd the date go?" I ask Mads as we're at our lockers the next day at school "Good... I didn't fuck up!" She cheers as I laugh "That's good" "Yo!" We heat and we turn to see the boys and Emily "Guys don't do that!" Mads yells "Sorry we can't help it" Nate laughs as I hit him "Jade ya gotta stop that" "Yeah... not happening" "So Mads ya still a virgin right?" Ryan asks as she blushes "What's it to you?" She asks "Imma take that as a no?" "I'm sure it's a no dumbass" Emily tells him as the bell rings "I don't wanna go to class" Matt whines "I fucking hate History" "Agreed" Mads says I look around "Oh no ya got your 'I got an idea that might get us in trouble' face. What ya planning?" Emily asks "Nothing" I laugh nervously as they all look at me "Ok fine... can we get some 'Lasagna Della Casa' from Joanne's? I'm really hungry" I say "We can just skip school cause you're hungry" Matt rolls his eyes "We can skip school because we're hungry" I smile "Great" I say as we walk outside onto the street "Can we get a taxi this time? I'm not walking a hour" Ryan tells me "Ok" I say rolling my eyes
Time skip.......
"Hey!" I yell as we walk in the door "Jade?" Natali said walking up to us "Why aren't you guys in school?" She sternly asks "We're hungry?" Emily asks "What? This place has good food" Mads tells her "Aww Madi, thanks" "No problem" "You do realize your mom is gonna kill me if I let ya stay here right?" She says "Please for your niece" I beg "Fine"
She gives in as Grandpa walks out of the kitchen "Jade?" He looks at me "perché non sei scolarizzato?" He asks

I look at my friends who are confused "When he gets mad he speaks Italian" "Oh" They say in unison I laugh "We're hungry and we were hoping you could get us some food? Please our lunch is 8th period"
"Why is your lunch so late?" Grandma asks "Exactly!" Matt agrees "Ok fine. But only this one time. I'll call the school and say I picked you guys up early for the day. That way they would suspect anything" Grandma says "Thanks Mrs. G" Nate tells her as she smiles "Anytime kids. Any friends of my granddaughters and friends of mine, that's what I always say" she says as she goes in the back and makes our food
