I groan and get up as soon as I get a text
Matt: hey wanna come over to my place?
Jade: if ur asking me if I wanna meet ur parents then I have to think 'bout it
Matt: plz pretty plz bby
Jade: 🙄🙄fine
Matt: yayyyy
Jade: stfu I hate u
Matt: y'know u love me
Jade: ok fine maybe I do 🤣 I have to tell my mom I'm coming over
Matt: tell her I said hi
....
I walk to Mom and Taylor's room "Hey guys-" I say as I see them kiss "Ew ew ew" I say as Taylor laughs "Come on it's not like you and Matt don't do this. Exactly... I don't like that you do" He says as I roll my eyes and walk over to Mom and hug her "He invited me to meet his parents I'm scared" I tell her "Oh! I got this answer! Meditate!" Taylor yells as we look at him "What the hell?" We say in unison "What? I can act like Stefani" He says "Ok... baby how about you two hang out today and we'll see how it goes?" She asks as I nod "That could work" I nod "Thanks Mom, thanks Tay" I say as I walk out the door
"No sex!" Taylor yells "and no kissing!" I roll my eyes
Time skip.......
I am outside when I call Matt
"Where are you? I'm outside"
"I'm at the diner. I'm walking over now"
I spot him and walk to him
"Hey!" I yell as I hug him
"Let's go to my place" he says
We arrive at his place and are greeted by his mom "Hey Matt, who's this?" She asks "Mom, this is Jade.... she's sorta my girlfriend" He says as his Mom smiles "Hi Jade I'm Mrs Brown. But please call me Holly" she says as she hugs me "Ok Holly" I say as his dad walks in "Hi, you must be Jade, I'm Mr Brown but you can call me John" "Nice to meet you John" I tell him as he shakes my hand as we go outside and sit on the porch
Time skip...........
There is a girl around my age that is sitting on the one chair "Hey Maya this is my girlfriend Jade" Matt tells her as Maya looks at me "Hey! Matt talks about you a lot" I laugh "All good things I hope. How old are you?" I ask "13" she says "Cool"
Holly and John come out with some hot dogs "Hope you're hungry Jade" I laugh "Thank you" I say "So how'd you two meet?" John asks "Well Matt was walking to his class, and I was singing and I bumped into him" I say "It's kind of a funny story" Matt adds "It sounds like it" Holly says "So how old are you?" Holly asks "I'm 14, turn 15 in February" I tell them "Cool. You never told me your birthday" Matt tells me "Well you never asked" I tell him laughing "So Jade, what do you plan to do after high school?" John asks "John, she might not know, I mean it's 4 years away" Holly puts in "No it's fine. I actually plan to become a musician" I tell them "That's a interesting career choice" I laugh "I know a lot of people think it's stupid and absurd, but I've always had a passion for music. And I think I'll be able to make it a career" I tell him "That's great" Holly puts in "So... what do your parents do?" She asks "Well my dad is a jerk" I mumble "Sorry" I say "Well my Mom and her boyfriend are both into theatre and music. They both have amazing careers" I tell her "Well it sounds like being creative runs in the family" I smile "Jade do you want to see my room?!" Maya exclaims as I laugh "Sure"
Time skip...............
We enter her room and I come face to face with Mom, well Mom's pictures
"I see you like Lady Gaga" I comment "She's the best" Maya comments as I nod "Are you a Little Monster?" She asks "The biggest" I laugh "You look a lot like her y'know" Maya tells me "Thanks my friends call me Mini Gaga" I laugh "Have you ever met her?" She asks "I see her everyday" I mumble "What?" "Nothing" I say quickly "I'm sorry but I really have to go. My mom wants me home" I say as Maya nods and I run downstairs
"Hey babe" I say to Matt "I have to go" "I'll walk you" he says I smile "It was really nice to meet you Holly and John" I say "It was nice to finally meet you too Jade. Maybe you and your parents would like to have lunch sometime?" Holly asks as I smile "That'll be great thank you" I say as we head out the door
Time skip...........
We get back to my apartment "I'm home!" I yell "I'm here too!" Matt yells as Taylor walks in "Your Mom's in the shower but she said to say hi and ask how it went" he tells me "It was good" I tell him "That's good. No kissing I hope" "Just for that" I smirk and kiss Matt he deepens the kiss "Ok that's enough" Taylor scolds as we laugh
