The gang and I are all in my apartment in the living room when Mom comes in the room "Ok Taylor, come here" She yells "Do I really have to do this? I don't wanna talk about this" Taylor whines "Yeah you do, come on" she says as she and Taylor sit on the couch "Ok talk time" She tells us "I already know what this is about and I'm leaving" Matt says while trying to walk upstairs "Matthew get back in here" Taylor demands "Yes sir" he reluctantly sits back down on the couch "Yeah, well, uh, this is our cue to leave" Mads says as she and the others get up "You guys are staying too" Taylor demands "Do we have to?" Ryan whines "Yes... now-" "La la la la" I cover my ears "Can't hear you" I say "Jade, stop it. This is a serious topic you need to talk about" Mom says "You already talked about it with me" "We haven't talked about it with Matt" "Again, I see no reason on why we have to be here" Mads says to Taylor and Mom "Can't we just talk about this? Together? Without you guys in the room?" Matt asks "Ok Matt, we'll try it your way" "Thank you" he sighs in relief and I laugh as we go upstairs
Time skip........
"It's not like we're gonna do it anytime soon, I don't know why they're worrying" I laugh "Well, maybe they just want to prepare us, I mean Taylor was our age and your mom was 17" I cough "18" I say "Wait you mean your dad-" "Yeah I know, first time and she got pregnant. She doesn't want that to happen to me, I don't blame her" I smile at Matt "It's not gonna be that way though right?" "Of course not, I would never hurt you in that way to leave a scar on your life for 15 years" I shudder "When you put it like that it doesn't sound so great" "It's not, it's still not, J" "I know, I know, but he's my dad, and he's trying to change. I gotta trust him on that"  Matt nods "Understandable... so are we ready to talk about this?" "I really don't want to" "Well we kinda have to so..." Mads walks in the room "Please save me" I beg as I hug her "Is she drunk again?" She whispers to Matt as he shakes his head "No, I just don't wanna talk about this, help us find a way out of this" "I can't, you two have to talk about it at some point" "But why? Can't we wait until we're 17? When it's gonna happen?" I ask "Like your mom said, you could change your mind in a second" I roll my eyes "Ok fine. Let's go downstairs" I groan "Time to face the music" "AND DANCE" Mads yells "What?" She asks "Y'know I'm gonna be singing your moms songs every chance I get" we laugh as we walk out of my room and down the stairs
