Luna

I closed the door and I could already hear them argue upstairs. I really didn't want to go upstairs. I didn't want to get involved in their argument because I knew it was going to backfire on me.

I was still nervous but I also wasn't going to worry about her because she has changed so much that I couldn't recognize her anymore. I didn't even want to be related to her anymore. Not as long as she kept acting like that.

She was not the older sister she should've been.. that hurt but there was nothing I could've done about it. She needed that phase. I only hoped to not go through such a phase as well.

After ten minutes of arguing they came back downstairs and I hoped they would just walk past me because I was drinking apple juice in the kitchen, totally innocently but of course they had to insult me.

"He found her at a club... what a great responsible guy." dad said so sarcastically that I felt my stomach drop immediately and I hated feeling like that.

"Honey, what Dad is trying to say is.. Avery said he was drunk. He still drove.. that doesn't sound like something someone who's responsible would do. We don't think he would take care of you." mom said, trying to play it nice.

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion and didn't say a word yet. I needed to let that sink and I didn't even want to put any effort into this conversation.

"What I'm trying to say is that he gets drunk on the way to a club and beats up a guy, really aggressively in the presence of my daughter." dad said ,leaning his hands on the counter in front of him.

He raised his voice and the way he stared at me.. as if it would be me my fault or I've done something wrong.

"Wait, wait, wait, wait! What does this have to do with him in first place?" I asked, still totally confused. I knew what he did, without any detailed explanations and I didn't even need any because I trusted him.

"We didn't allow you to meet him. You didn't see him for almost two weeks. Look how fast he found other distractions which show who he really is. That doesn't seem really loyal to me." he was determined to hate him without having any reason.

I bit my lower lip to not lose my mind or bring out words that would hurt him, trying to not mind that he was hurting me. How could he know how loyal Moon was? I knew I shouldn't listening to anything they said but I did and it annoyed me.

"Are you really mad because he did something to Oliver that one of us should've already done?"

"He could've hurt Avery."

"But he didn't and he's never going to because he is not a bad person. Why should he hurt Avery when she isn't his 'victim'?"

"His late night activities say something else."

"Every young guy gets drunk and goes to clubs when he's pissed because he's not allowed to see his girlfriend."

"And beats up random guys."

"Random guys? You know what? You can welcome Oliver here next time. Mom! You could make him som nice dinner, I mean he's going to be your son in law if you keep going like this!"

I was really on the edge. I was so damn pissed and tired of these people who were so blind... Either someone kidnapped my real parents and replaced them with these weird ass people or they were getting weird because I've never seen them act like this.

They were blinded. They could only see Moon because they were scared their younger daughter would end up like their older daughter but I wasn't going to let them do this to me.
