2: Meet the Parents-in-Law

Hyuk's POV

"Mae khrab~" I called out loudly as soon as we all step out of the van. Surprisingly, my brother, Ai'Gun was able to bring us all here alive with his driving skills. "Pa khrab~" I called out again but this time to my father. Our house still looks the same. My Mae's still has her small vegetable garden in front of the house and Pa's scoter is still in front of the front gate.

I don't live in a big grand house like those that people can see in lakorn, but our house is big enough to accommodate my guest. I heard the heavy footsteps of my parents as soon as we enter our house. My brothers follow after pulling our things. My mae and my pa came in view after some few seconds and I immediately wai at them. In the corner of my eyes, I saw Hae, Heechul Hyung, and Heemi doing the same gesture that I did. "My son~" my mae said with visible happiness and my pa only smiles at us. They wai at my friends as well, "Come in—come in~" my mae said inviting everyone inside the living room.

"Woi P' khrab, why do you have a lot of things?" Ai'Gun complain loudly in Thai and I can't help but shake my head, "Then don't get your new vinyl cd and some chocolate, na Nong?" I teased him a bit and settle down on the couch with Hae beside me and Heechul Hyung and Heemi at the other couch. "Serves you right, P'," Ai'Cap also teased our brother and the second monkey run so fast to me, "P', Ai'Gun is just kidding. Please give the cd and chocolate to me later, na P'? Na na na na?" he holds the hem of my shirt and pull it again and again.

'Ai'Gun is already 20 years old but he acts like 10 years old while Ai'Cap is 19 but he acts more mature than Ai'Gun.'

"Okay—okay—stop pulling my shirt~" I don't even intend to make it hard for him so I gave in easily and in the corner of my eye I can see the evil duo (Heechul Hyung and Heemi) whispering at each other while pointing their accusing fingers at me.

My parents also sit down next to Hae because that is the only available space while Ai'Cap is nowhere—he probably put our things upstairs and Ai'Gun is in the middle of the stairs already. "You look healthier, son." My pa said with warm smile on his face. I can't help but show off a little bit, "Of course Pa, my wife is really good at taking care of me khrab~"

I feel a light pinch on my side. I know that everyone in the house can understand the conversation because my pa and I talked to each other in English. In our house, everyone can speak English well because my pa and mae used to let tourist stay in our house when we were young for extra income. The three our us (Ai'Gun and Ai'Cap) was forced to speak English until we became better at it. It was also my advantage when I started working in Korea.

"And this lovely boy beside you my son is your wife—khrab?" my Mae asked and she shifted her attention to my Hae. Good thing my Hae has good manners. Again, he wai at my parents, "Ahm – sawadee khrab—I am Lee Donghae~" I am so proud hearing my own language coming out of his mouth.
