119: Who Will Protect You?

 Captain's POV

(A/N: A little flashback before Gun saw the drama in their house)

I was so happy when I received a message from White telling me to go home early because he will visit the house but he didn't tell me exactly that he will go to my house together with his parents. If I only I knew, then I should probably wait for P'Gun so that we can go back home together.

I was beyond terrified seeing White, his Mae, and his Pa sitting in our living room couch while may Mae and Pa are sitting opposite to them. I can feel the tension in the air.

White run towards me when I arrive home but he didn't hug me like he normally did, instead he looks at me in the eyes and said, "I am sorry Cap—they found out," and I didn't know that hearing sorry would scared me this much.

I walk pass him and find comfort with how my Pa smiles at me and how my Mae reaches out for my hand and when she touches me, all I know is I am safe.

"Captain, you should wai first to Ai'White's parents~" Mae reminded me and even though I am nervous, I pulled my hand off my Mae and shifted my attention towards my boyfriend's parents. Surprisingly, White is already standing back again near his parents, "Sawadee khrab~" I said politely.

They also wai back at me which I will try to see as a good start.

Both White and I didn't sit down, "Ahm—to what pleasure do we have the presence of phanahuajoathan khrab?" Pa asked politely. My parents are very well mannered and I will always brag about their good personality because I always feel proud of them.

My Pa is very smart too, instead of asking White or White's Mae, he went directly to White's Pa.

I feel like I need a support but I am not sure what kind of support do I need. My boyfriend is on the other side and neither P'Hyuk nor P'Gun are here now. But I am so glad when Pa grabs my hand.

"Thank you for asking na khrab. We are here—together with my wife and son—to take a look at your son—Nong Captain na khrab," my throat is getting dry when White's Pa talked. His voice sounds so nice but at the same time, it's very intimidating.

This time, Mae grabs my other free hand so I am literally standing in the middle of my Mae and Pa, "That's very nice of you na kah phanahuajoathan—but you don't need to come all the way here in our humble house na kah. We can always pay a visit—besides—Ai'White is like our son already~" and I know Mae means it. The moments White's family invites us—we will really go—the four of us with P'Gun.

"Awww—that's so sweet of you na kah. Thank you for looking after our White—it seems like your house is very warm and lovely na kah—no wonder White likes to go here~" I am not sure anymore if I should feel scared or what. Base on how White's parents talk—they seem like nice people but why did White tells me that he is sorry?
