108: Let the War Starts

A/N: I was trying to update but I got hooked up with 'The Untamed' sooooo that was the reason why I cannot update over the weekend.

Also—I am helping proofreading the translation of 'How to Secretly' (those who don't know the novel. It's related to Love by Chance—that's the individual book for Kengkla and Techno. The role that Mark and Gun played hhhhh)

3rd Person POV

Hyuk and Donghae lead the kids inside the amusement part. They all promised to meet up at dinner time to eat at the nearest restaurant.

For some reason, Hyuk isn't happy about the lineup because none of his brothers are beyond his eye sight. In short, he cannot look after his crazy monkey brothers. It isn't that bad actually because Hyuk trusted his friends so much and he pep talk all of them regarding these crazy kids.

Donghae is happily walking beside his boyfriends while Rina and Heemi are walking side by side but aren't talking much. Lastly, Dayu and Wang Qing are walking behind Heemi and Rina but they aren't talking much making Hyuk to worry a bit.

"So—until when are you going to stay here Wang Qing? I bet your family misses you already in China," Hyuk can't help but break the silence.

Hyuk even look behind to take a glance at the guy he is asking, "Ahm—probably—Dayu and I will stay here for a while Gege—we will bond with Meimei more," but the Meimei that Wang Qing is talking about isn't looking at him.

The two older guys didn't notice the building up tension behind them.

Rina can't help but to nudge her friend's arm, "Woie, are you really not going to talk to them na kah?" she whispered softly making sure that Heemi is the only one that can hear her.

The other girl sigh deeply, "Like I said na kah Unni, I am not going to talk to them. I just—" "You just?" "I just—don't want to get hurt more na Unni~" Rina can't help but to feel bad about her friend.

Heemi told him everything before she arrived in Korea today. That time, Heemi called her. The usual bubbly voice was gone that day—instead she can feel that hurt and sadness on her friend's voice.

The reason why Heemi got hurt so much is because—she trusted both Dayu and Wang Qing so much. She thought that Dayu was on her side. It's not as if she isn't ready to accept her favorite cousin's lover but she didn't expect that it would be someone she knows and trusted.

Heemi isn't selfish—she did try to understand but the more she thinks about it—the more hurt she feels.

"But Nong—"

"Unni—can we not talk about this na kah? I really like to enjoy the rides—can we?" Heemi cut Rina this time and she earns a long deep sigh from the older girl before nodding her head.
