Chapter 24

One thing before you guys start reading. This is important to know this. I know the Bohemian Rhapsody movie came out in 2018 but in this story it is 2017. I know I've mentioned Bohemian Rhapsody in past chapters but it is 2017, since I was 19 in 2017. I will be doing a "2 years later" thing where I'm the age I am now but that won't be until many many chapters. Just letting you guys know. Okay on with the story.

I wake up on the couch and see Brian sitting in the rocking chair and Anita sitting in the other rocking chair. I looked at them as they looked at me. It was quiet until Brian finally spoke up.

"Good morning." Brian says as I sat up.

"Good morning... how did I get here?" I asked.

"You came down here yourself and laid down." Anita replied.

"I don't remember that." I say putting my hair up.

"You were probably half asleep." Brian says.

"Right...so what are we doing today?" I ask.

"You could record your next song."

"I don't really feel like going to the studio." I say. "Don't you have a studio here?"

"I do." Brian replied.

"Then why didn't we record my song here?" I ask.

"Well because..." he paused. "I don't know."

"Okay... what time is it?" I ask looking at my watch.

"Noon." Anita replied.

"Thanks, Nita." I say as she nods.

"Are you excited about your song being released?" Brian asks.

"Oh my god yes I can't wait." I exclaimed.

"You should let your instagram followers know." Brian says.

"Yes I should." I say getting my phone and going on instagram.

I got up and recorded a video talking about my song. I messed up a few times so I had to keep starting over. After a while I got the video right and posted it on my story. A few minutes later I get a text from my sister.

Grace: "Your song is gonna be out tomorrow?"
Jacklynn: "Yeah, I can't wait it's so exciting."
Grace: "So when are you going on tour?"
Jacklynn: "My first song is coming out tomorrow Grace I think it's too early for that."
Grace: "Oh yeah, right. I gotta go I have chores to do."
Jacklynn: "Okay bye."

"Oh Jackie you got something in the post." Anita says handing me an envelope. "It says western union on it."

"Western union? My dad is sending me money!" I exclaimed. "Brian, you open it."

"Why don't you want to open it?" Brian asks.

"I don't like opening envelopes, last time I opened an envelope was when I got an invitation and it wasn't even meant to be given to me, I almost got in trouble for it."

"This is for you this time. Open it and see how much money your dad sent you."

"Okay..." I say as I open the envelope and read the paper that's in it.

"How much?" Brian asks.

"Hang on a second...I'm reading." I replied.  "Oh wow."

"How much did he send you?"

"He sent...$600. Wow. I still have $50 he gave me for my birthday I can't use that here."

"We'll take care of that for you." Brian says.
