Chapter 76

I woke up and saw Adam staring at me.

"Happy birthday." He said.

"Do you always stare at me when I sleep?" I asked.

"Yeah but I can't help it you're beautiful when you sleep." Adam said.

"I don't know if I want to do anything today." I said.

"Are you sure? Roger is supposed to take you on a surprise adventure." Adam said.

"Well I'm excited for the surprise adventure but other than that I don't wanna do anything else." I said. "Do you want to come adventuring with us?"

"Yeah I'll go I don't want anything to happen to you." Adam said.

"Is Jane coming with us?" I asked.

"Where are we going?" I heard Jane say.

"Jane what are you doing here?" I asked.

" I told you I was gonna come over for your birthday." Jane said. "So where are we going?"

"Roger is taking me on a surprise adventure." I said. "Wait what about Amanda?"

"Anita and Brian will take care of her." Adam said. "They've been a lot of help when you were in a coma."

"I've helped a lot too." Jane said as Anita walked in.

"We all helped." Anita said. "Happy birthday ny the way.

"Thanks." I said.

"Roger is gonna be here in a few minutes to take you to a surprise adventure." Anita said. "Come downstairs when your ready we got a little surprise for you."

"Okay." I said as Anita smiled and walked out.

"I'll be in the kitchen." Jane said then teleported away.

"Where's my adventuring bag?" I asked.

"Where it's always been." Adam replied.

I got out of bed and grabbed my adventuring bag.

"Okay everything is here right where it should be." I said looking through my adventuring bag.

I dropped the bag and fell to my knees.

"Babe what's wrong?" Adam asked.

"My back stings my wings are coming I can feel it." I said.

"You'll be okay it probably hurt when your sister got hers too it'll pass." Adam said.

"Adam get away from me I don't wanna hurt you." I said.

Brian, Anita, and Crypta ran into my room and they went to pick me up but I stopped them.

"Don't touch me!" I yelled at them.

They backed away from me and I screamed. I felt the pain go away and I got up. Brian, Anita, and Crypta were just staring at me in shock.

"Your wings are beautiful." Adam said.

I ran to him and hugged him. He hugged me back which hurt my back.

"Adam not so tight it still hurts." I said.

"Oh I'm sorry." Adam said.

"Hey I heard screaming is everything- oh my god Jacklynn your wings look like the wings of an anime I drew." Jane said. "They look amazing."

Jane walked up to me and touched my wings and I winced.

"Oh I'm sorry." Jane said.

"Hey I'm here." Roger said walking into my room. "Jacklynn you got your wings."
