Chapter 68

I woke up and noticed Adam wasn't beside me. I got out of bed went to my closet and grabbed a blue sundress got changed into it and headed downstairs. Brian and Crypta are sitting on the couch watching Peppa Pig.

"Where's Adam?" I asked.

"He went with Anita." Brian said.

"What for?" I asked.

"You'll find out later." Crypta said.

I was about to sit down when the door opened and Anita and Adam walked in holding bags from a jewellery store.

"Adam you're back." I said as he gave a tiny bag to Anita. "Where did you go?"

"Oh we just went to-." He paused as he looked at Anita. "We went to get a few stuff."

"Okay." I said as Adam walked towards me and hugged me. "Did you miss me?"

"Yeah." I said hugging him back.

"I'll be in my room if you need me." Crypta said as she ran upstairs.

Adam and I sat down on the couch and watched a nature documentary.

As the documentary ended we heard a knock at the door.

"That's Roger I'll get it." Brian said.

Brian opened the door and let Roger in. He put a bag down on the couch and walked towards me. He grabbed my arm and pulled me up.

"You could've just told me to stand up, Rog." I said.

"Sorry." Roger said. "Are you ready to speed up your pregnancy?"

"Yeah I guess so." I said.

"Great." Roger said taking out a small disk and dropping it on the ground.

The disk got bigger and turned into what looked like a small stage.

"Whoa." I said.

"How can that huge thing fit in a tiny disk?" Adam asked.

"Exactly what I was thinking." I said.

"Step onto it." Roger said.

"It's not gonna hurt is it?" I asked stepping onto it.

"Not really." Roger said. "It might."

"Wait what?" I said as he pushed a button on a remote and I got surrounded by a green light.

"It doesn't really hurt." I said.

"Just wait for it." Roger said as Crypta came downstairs.

"What are you doing to her?" She asked.

"Speeding up her pregnancy." Roger said. "She'll be 9 months but it will look like she's at least 6 months."

"I'm starting to feel something now." I said.

"Does it hurt?" Roger asked.

"Not really but kind of." I said. "Will The Baby have powers too?"

"It's possible." Roger said.

"How much longer?" I asked.

"Just 15 more seconds left." Roger said.

"This is starting to hurt." I said.

"Get her out of there!" Crypta said as I screamed in pain.

"10 seconds." Roger said.

"This is really hurting me!" I screamed.

"Stop it now! Get her out!" Adam said.

"Okay I'm letting her out now." Roger said.

"No don't I can do this!" I said.
