Chapter 53

I woke up early in the morning and looked beside me he wasn't there. I grabbed my phone and checked the time it's 6:25 and Love of my life is stuck in my head. I looked up the piano keys for it and sat up. I got out of bed and tiptoed to the piano. I put my phone down and started playing then started singing.

I was about to continue when I heard Brian singing and he sat down beside me as I sang along with him

I picked up my phone and scrolled through my instagram.

"It's a little early, what are you doing up?" He asked.

"That song was stuck in my head." I replied looking down at my phone.

"Really?" He asked.

"Yeah." I said still looking down at my phone.

"Jacklynn look at me." Brian said.

"No I'm good." I said.

"Look at me." He said.

I got out of my instagram and looked at him.

"You've been crying." Brian said. "This is about Adam isn't it?"

"No." I said getting up and going downstairs.

"I know it is." He said following me. "You miss him."

"Of course I do." I said sitting down on the couch.

"He'll be back." He said. "And maybe when he does come back he'll stay permanently."

"I wish." I said laying down.

"You should go back to bed." Brian said.

"No I wanna stay here." I said.

"You're gonna sleep here?" Brian asked.

"Yeah." I said.

"Alright I'm going back to bed I'll see you in a few hours." Brian said going upstairs.

Every time I got a notification I check my phone for anything from Adam but they keep being Facebook notifications. I went to the settings on my phone and turned off notifications for Facebook. I put my phone down and was just about to fall asleep when my phone dings. I picked it up and see that he sent me a video message. I played the video and smiled.

"Hi Jackie I just got home I miss you so much. I'll be back soon I promise. I love you." 

I saved the video and watched it again and again and again until I fell asleep.

"Jackie wake up." Crypta said.

"I'm up, I'm awake." I said sitting up.

"I got worried when I didn't see you in your bed." She said. "I thought you left without saying anything."

"I wouldn't do that." I said.
