Adrien's POV

As I leave y/n's house, I think on how awkward we were.

Last night really left us weird.

I wonder if she knows I was talking about her?

She seemed a little sad when I mentioned I liked another girl besides Ladybug, maybe that means she thinks it's someone else, and she does like me?

I kind of hope it's true, I don't want her to be sad, but I do hope she likes me.

Unless Ladybug accepts, then I don't want y/n to like me, and be upset.

That's the last thing I want.

I guess I'll talk to Ladybug tomorrow, it's a joint patrol night.

But do I even want her to accept?

She's always shot me down, never treated me as anything more than a friend.

Sometimes not even that.

I'm so confused, I hate having to choose between two people I like. 

But I guess I'll take y/n's advice and ask Ladybug first.

When I get home and detransform, Plagg quickly scarfs down a wheel of cheese then goes to sleep, I won't be talking to him anymore tonight.

Guess his advice from yesterday wore him out, he doesn't want to talk today.

I get ready for bed and fall asleep quickly, but restlessly.

Ladybug and I always meet at 10:15 on the Eiffel Tower for joint patrol, since I can't get out until a few minutes after 10.

It's been a regular, boring day doing photoshoots.

But I haven't been able to focus much, I've been thinking about what I'll say to Ladybug.

I finally know what I'm going to say, but I don't know if she'll accept me.

If our previous history is any indication, then no.

But maybe she's changed her mind?

I can't say that I haven't thought about what would happen if Ladybug turns me down again though.

If she turns me down, I'll continue my usual routine and go to y/n's house, but instead of just hanging around, I'll ask her out.

Or at least try to find out if she likes me.

I'm finally clear to leave, it's 10:10.

I make my way to the Tower, and land on the top viewing area.

This is where I always bring y/n. I think to myself.

Before I can shake the thoughts from my head, I hear the familiar zip of Ladybug's yo-yo.

"Hey, LB!"

"Hey Cat, ready to patrol?"

"Yep!"

"Come on then." We jump away together, and swing through the city.

No akumas, but one creepy guy who looks like he may be trying to rob a store.

We scare him away and go back to the Eiffel.

"Hey, uh, Ladybug?"

"Yeah?"

"Can I ask you something?"

"What is it, Cat?"

"Well, um, you know I've liked you for a really long time now, and I was just wondering if-" She cuts me off before I can finish.
