The Next Day...

Slowly I began waking up to the sounds of the birds chirping right outside. But once I began waking up, I remembered what today was and woke myself up even more because I got very excited.

I lifted my head since it was resting on Jack's shoulder and noticed he was still asleep. He looked so adorable I almost didn't want to wake him up. But I had to because first we had to get school over with before getting to my plans for today.

I held one side of his neck as I leaned down and pushed my lips onto his. I moved on top of him, my lips not moving off his. Soon after, I felt Jack's hands holding my waist as he began gently kissing me back.

We kissed for five seconds before I pulled a little bit, my forehead resting against his.

"Happy birthday." I whispered to him with a big smile as I pecked his lips once more. "Thank you.." He whispered back, smiling cutely before resting my head on his chest and hugging me. My arms went loosely around his neck and I hugged him back.

We laid together, talking quietly for five minutes before deciding up. We left the treehouse and went to our own houses to get ready for school.

I got dressed in a red cropped t-shirt with some black ripped jeans. I put my hair half up half down, brushed my teeth, then headed back outside.

I had to wait outside for Jack for like five minutes. It made sense though since his parents were probably wishing him happy birthday as well.

After the five minutes, Jack came outside as well and we went to school.

Since Jack was still popular in school, he got wished happy birthday quite a lot. I could tell he was beginning to get annoyed by saying 'thank you' so much and it made me laugh but he still appreciated everybody who said it.

For right after school, Jack's parents planned to surprise him. They got an amazing looking cake and they also decorated the house a little bit.

My job was to bring him to his house right after school rather than anywhere else. The job was pretty easy since he was planning on going there anyway.

So we casually drove home together after school.

As we walked up to his front door, I was getting very excited. But on the outside, I was trying as hard as I possibly could to act normal. And it seemed to have worked since Jack didn't seem to suspect anything.

He unlocked the door and we walked inside. The house was dead silent. I knew everybody was in the dining room though since that's where Mr. Meyer told me to take him.

Luckily, the kitchen was also in the same hall as the dining room so that would make bringing him there less weird. Because why would I want to go into the dining room?

"Babe, let's get some cereal." I told him, saying the first food I could think of as I grabbed his hand and began to pull him towards the hall where the dining room and kitchen were. "Why?" Jack asked me while laughing but continuing to walk with me anyway. "'Cause we're hungry." I answered, chuckling quietly. "We are?" He asked me, still laughing. "Yup." I said, popping the 'p' in the word as I continued to pull him.

I began taking him down that hall. And luckily the large dining room came before the kitchen. The kitchen was the room at the very end of the hall and the dining room was pretty close to the front of the hall, taking up the entire left side of it and there was a little door we had to walk through to get to it.

"Wait, come in here for a sec'." I said to him as we reached to door to the dining room. "Why?" Jack asked me, furrowing his eyebrows as I began opening the door.
