The Next Day...

I woke up slowly to the feeling of small kisses being placed on the left side of my neck. Even though I was still half asleep, I couldn't help but smile. My eyes slowly opened half way to see Jack continuing to kiss all over the side of my neck.

My hand went under his chin and I gently turned him to me before pushing my lips onto his. I could feel his smile against me as I smiled as well. His arm went around my waist and he pulled my body against his.

We continued to kiss slowly for half a minute before finally pulling back. We talked quietly for a little bit before Jack had to get up so he could get to his house.

When he got up, he got his jeans back on before buttoning back up his flannel. After getting dressed, he kneeled down beside the bed, his forearms resting on top of it. I turned my body to him so our faces were quite close.

I looked up at his hair and smiled when I saw that he still had bedhead. It looked so cute.

"Your hair is messy.." I said really quietly and with a giggle as I ran my fingers through his hair. That neatened it a bit. Jack chuckled. "It's fine. I'll fix it later." He said back quietly with a smile.

We again began to talk quietly to each other. This time it was only for a minute though as Jack knew he had to get going.

So he kissed my cheek before standing up. We said goodbye to each other and he left.

I stayed in bed for another five minutes with my eyes closed. I almost fell asleep again but luckily I managed to get up before that.

I tiredly walked over to my closet to get dressed. I put on a black cropped t-shirt with some grey sweatpants. I tied my hair half up half down, brushed my teeth then went out to meet up with Jack again.

We went to school together.

Alena's P.O.V...

Today I dressed in a big hoodie, specifically so I could wear the hood over my head all day. I did just that. Right when I walked into the school, the hood came on.

I walked through the halls with my head hung low. I felt like everybody was staring at me, even though they weren't. I hated that.

I knew my secret has already gotten around to like half our grade. Literally how and why? Did people seriously care for any sort of drama they could get their hands on? This secret had absolutely nothing to do with them, why did they care to spread it?

It was so fucking annoying.

I've even lost two friends so far from this. I wasn't that close with them but it still hurt. They left because they 'can't be friends with someone who tries to be like others to feel validated'..

As much as I wanted to say that that was bullshit.. but that was pretty much what I used to do.. Putting it into a sentence like that really just made me feel like a piece of garbage... I hated all these new depressing feelings that were coming to my head because of all this.

Philosophy...(Veronica's P.O.V)

I walked into the room I took my regular seat. Alena wasn't here yet but I HIGHLY doubted she was going to sit beside me anyway.

A minute later though, my eyes moved up just in time to see Alena walk through the door.

She didn't look so good.. Her hair seemed a little messy under her hood, she seemed to have bags under her eyes, her head was hung low and she genuinely looked very unhappy.

That made sense though.. I've heard that her secret was spreading quickly through the grade. Did people not have anything better to do?!

I saw Alena glance at me for a second and we made eye contact but she looked away very quickly. Her eyes scanned around the room and I saw her sigh when noticing that the only empty table was the one right behind me.
