After School Hang Out | 11

Friday...(Veronica's P.O.V) 

Today I got dressed in a black windbreaker along with some army print skinny jeans. I put my hair half up half down, brushed my teeth, then went to school with Jack.

Drama... 

I walked into the room and sat beside Shayna who was sitting beside Coltin, who was sitting beside Jeremy. Today her and Coltin were going to be doing their presentation. And Shayna was very nervous, she was very much not good with presentations but she loved acting so that's why she took the course. And when I said beside her, she looked very nervous unlike Coltin who seemed completely fine.

"Coltin, are you not nervous at all?" I asked him with a small chuckle. "Nope. I've never been scared of presentations luckily. Otherwise I would've never taken this course." He answered. "Well your partner here definitely can't say the same." I said, patting Shayna's shoulder.

"We're gonna do great, don't worry." Coltin chuckled as he patted her shoulder. "But we may have not practiced enough and I might forget some of my lines." Shayna said to him nervously. "Shayna, even I know how hard you practiced day and night. You'll do great." I said to her with a smile. "Exactly. Trust me, we practiced enough." Coltin said, reassuring her. She looked at him, nodding with a small smile.

So after everyone, settled down, the teacher started having other groups present. All of the presentations were amazing! I was so intrigued for each and every one of them. This was a very talented group of kids.

About three groups later, it was Shayna and Coltin's turn. 

"Coltin, Shayna, you two are up next. You can set up." The teacher told the two of them, his eyes staying on his clipboard though. Shayna's eyes widened as she heard that, suddenly seeming very nervous. "Come on," Coltin said with a chuckle as he stood up. "we'll be fine. I promise." He told her while smiling.

So, Shayna nervously stood up while taking a deep breath and they began setting up their scene. And about three minutes later, they were ready to present. 

So, they began doing their presentation. And everyone, of course including me, really enjoyed it! 

It was about two friends who were on a road trip when suddenly a tornado struck right near them and they had to get away. What made the situation worse was that they were in the middle of nowhere. They ended up surviving but they were severely injured and were in the middle of nowhere. And it ended with Coltin's character managing to get help with another car driving by. 

Neither of them forgot any lines and both of them perfectly stayed in character. By the end of their performance, they had gotten a lot of applause, including from the teacher. 

They both smiled, took a bow, then went back to our seats between Jeremy and I. 

"You guys did really good!" Both Jeremy and I started complimenting them on their performance. "Thanks guys." Both of them said with very happy and proud smiles. 

After about five more presentations it was the end of the period. 

So Shayna and I began walking out of the class and towards the cafeteria until I felt a small tap on my shoulder behind me while also hearing my name be called. Both Shayna and I turned around to see Jeremy. I smiled right away as my eyes met his.

"I'll just go meet up with Jack. Have fun during practice." Shayna said with a smile before walking off. So I turned to Jeremy. 

"Hey." I said happily while smiling. "Hey. So I actually have a question." Jeremy said, also with a smile. "Oh alright, what is it?" I asked him.
