A Month Later...
Within the past month, things couldn't be any better with Jeremy. And surprisingly, knowing the type of person I am, I was actually waiting for the moment where we would take our relationship a step further.
Damn, this feeling was so new! I've never had such strong feelings for someone to the point where I actually wanted to be with them like this. But it was a surprisingly good feeling. It made my life so much more interesting and it had me waking up with excitement every morning.
But anyway, today was finally Friday so I was excited for the weekend as well.
I got out of bed and went to my closet to get dressed. Since it was now snowy and cold outside, I had to dress warmer. I put on some black high waisted jeans with a very oversized knitted grey sweater. I left my hair down, brushed my teeth, then went to school with Jack.
Drama...
Once the bells rang, I left my class and went downstairs to drama class. I went to sit with Shayna, Jeremy and Coltin like usual.
We spend most of the class just playing drama games because we had a supply teacher and we didn't have any upcoming assignments to work on.
It was pretty nice, it was good to have a break on a Friday.
Once the bell rang for lunch, Jeremy walked me to the cafeteria while Coltin walked Shayna. I didn't have soccer practice today because coach was sick sadly.
"So uh, Roni. How does a date night tonight sound?" Jeremy said with a cute smile as we continued walking, his arm going around me. Within the past month, Jeremy and I have gone on six dates, all of them being amazing in their own way. And I was definitely down for more of them. "Yeah definitely. And today's Friday so we can be out later." I said happily.
So once we got to the cafeteria, Shayna and I said goodbye to the guys and we went to a table. Shayna and I sat across from each other and continued to have normal conversations while waiting for Jack to show up.
But surprising both of us, he only showed up twenty minutes before the bell was going to ring, sitting beside me.
"Hey, sorry guys. Ema and I were chilling." He told us with a smile. Ema.. I still strongly didn't like her but I kept that to myself for now. "That's fine. You could've just stayed with her for the rest of the lunch with her if you wanted." I said to him with a smile. "Nah, it's fine." He smiled as well.
"So it's going pretty well with Ema, huh?" Shayna asked with a mix of a smile and smirk. "For sure. I really, really like her. Honestly, I've been thinking about officially asking her soon." Jack spoke with a nervous smile as he leaned back in his seat. Even though I strongly anticipated that, hearing it made my heart drop a little. But I still tried to be happy and excited for him. Even though I didn't like Ema, I was very happy that he was happy.
"Really?! Do it!" Shayna said excitedly. "Yeah. I mean, since you clearly seem to really like her, you should definitely do it." I spoke happily but cleanly not as much as Shayna. "Well we have a date tonight. Do you guys think I should do it then?" He asked us. "Yes!" Shayna said, even more excitedly. "Yeah, for sure." I smiled. "Alright, I might just do it then." He said happily but clearly nervously as well.
That Evening...
Jeremy told me he'd be at my house at around 8 pm and right now it was around 7:30 so I decided to get ready.
He told me to dress warm so that's just what I did.
I got dressed in a white knitted sweater with a black leather jacket and a grey scarf around my neck. I put on some dark grey jeans and some heeled black boots to complete my outfit. I also left my wavy hair down.
