After about forty minutes, I drove Jack home. He would've gone himself but unfortunately, we only had one car. So after dropping him off, I drove all the way back to the hospital.

Once I got there, I went back to mom's room and sat back down on one of the couches. I really had nothing to do now but go on my phone.

40 Minutes Later...

I was still just on my phone, getting pretty bored, when I suddenly heard a bit of shuffling behind me. My eyes widened quickly. I closed my phone and quickly stood up, putting the phone in my pocket.

I rushed over to the side of the hospital bed. I saw mom beginning to wake up as she moved around a little bit in the bed. I grabbed a nearby chair and pulled it to the side of the bed before sitting down on it.

"Mom..." I whispered to her. She groaned very quietly. Her eyes slowly opened and immediately landed on mine. "Roni..?" She asked me very quietly, seeming surprised and confused as she sat up a tiny bit.

"How are you feeling? Are you ok?" I asked her. I was quite nervous to talk to her now, considering we were still technically on bad terms. "I-I have a small headache but.." She looked around, seeming very confused. "the hospital? W-What happened?" She asked me, still seeming very confused and a bit concerned. "Your blood pressure spiked and you passed out. I had no idea what happened, I got so worried." I explained to her. "Oh.." Was all she said, sitting up a bit more.

"I'm so sorry mom..." I whispered as I started tearing up fast. "What are you talking about?" Mom asked me, furrowing her eyebrows a bit. "The doctor said that this most likely happened from severe stress. And I assumed the stress came from.. o-our conversation this morning.." I told her quietly while looking down. She stayed silent for a few seconds.

"Did you really mean everything you said?" Mom asked me quietly. I took a small deep breath. "I still stand by everything I said about Jack and I still think you're wrong about everything you said about him but.. I never meant any of the disrespectful things I said to you. And I'm really, really sorry for ever saying I hate you.. I don't think I could ever hate you.." I finally told her quietly. I looked up at her and saw that she had tears in her eyes as well.

"It really h-hurt when you said that, Roni..." Mom whispered, looking back into my eyes as a tear fell down from one of hers. "I'm so sorry mom, I-I love you so much.." I mumbled quickly. Mom quickly pulled me into a tight hug.

Both of us started crying, me doing so more hug as I hugged her back even tighter.

"I missed y-you so much.. I love you, honey.." Mom mumbled, hugging me even tighter. "I-I missed you more.." I mumbled back as tears continued falling down from my eyes.

Like a full three minutes later, we finally pulled back from the hug and stopped crying for the most part.

"That should never happen again.." I said to her we a tiny chuckle as I cupped her face as wiped away her tears with my thumbs. She nodded, wiping away my tears as well. "Definitely.. I couldn't stand not talking to my baby.." She said quietly, chuckling as well.

I felt SO much better now. Even though I would have never admitted it to myself before, I REALLY missed mom. I mean, she was my mom and we've always been close so it made sense that I would miss her. But it just felt so freaking amazing to be on good terms with her again after so long.

"By the way, impressive how you got me here all by yourself." Mom said with a laugh as I sat back in my seat. My breath hitched when I heard this. I don't know why, but I felt a HUGE urge to be honest..

Before I could hold myself back from saying the truth, I began saying it.

"About that.. i-it actually wasn't only me..." I said very nervously. Mom raised her eyebrow slightly. "Since we're fixing things between us, I-I figured it'd be smart for me to tell the truth.." I told her hesitantly. "Go on." Mom said, crossing her arms.
