Monday... 

Yeah so, now I was quite positive that Roni did in fact want to break up with me. Everything's gotten even worse and she's become even more distant over the weekend. There was literally no other reason for that rather than her wanting to break up with me.

And the thought of that itself completely terrified me. I must've done something wrong... Maybe I didn't make her happy enough.. maybe she liked somebody else.. or maybe she just simply lost feelings for me...

I sat up in bed and put my head in my hands as I felt myself beginning to tear up at the thought of that. She was going to leave me.. My love, my forever wanted to leave me... I couldn't stop myself from beginning to cry softly.

Wow, crying first thing in the morning.. What a great way to start off the day...

Veronica's P.O.V... 

I sighed as I got out of bed then went to my closet to get dressed. I put on some army printed cargo pants with a grey cropped t-shirt. I put my hair half up half down, then went to school with Jack.

On the way to school though, Jack seemed different. He seemed way more quiet, maybe even sad. I asked him if he was ok and all he responded with was a quiet "Yes." There was clearly something that was bothering him. Now it was both of us who were acting different. 

Once we got to school, we went inside together. We said goodbye but as I was turning around to eave, I felt his hand wrap around my wrist as he said, "Wait." So I turned back around to him. 

"Let's chill together alone during lunch."

Jackson's P.O.V... 

The idea was very last second for me too. I literally just thought of it then. I just had to test her one last time. This time, if she failed, then I'd take it as her actually wanting to break up with me. 

On top of that though, this time I wasn't going to throw myself at her. I was going to be more gentle this time, just in case if that had something to do with it.

"Sure." She smiled. For literally only a split second, it looked like she was about to lean in for a kiss. But right away, she quickly stopped herself. I don't know if I was seeing things now, or if that actually happened honestly...

Lunch...(Veronica's P.O.V)

Jack and I met up after we went to our own lockers. We greeted each other when we met up but like usual, I couldn't kiss him. God, I missed his lips though...

We left the school out the front doors and he led to to the nearby park. Once we got there, he took me up the play structure and we sat beside each other on the elevated ground, against the wall.

We talked for about ten minutes but Jack still wasn't acting normal. He was still so much more quiet. But I didn't want to ask him about it again.. I was worried though, did I do something to make him mad?

Jackson's P.O.V... 

After about ten minutes, I just couldn't wait any longer. This test would determine everything. 

So, once we both went silent, I took that opportunity. My index finger went under her chin and I turned her to me before gently pressing my lips onto hers. I leaned in much more slow this time but not slow enough to give her a chance to pull back.

This time, she barely even waited a second before beginning to try and pull back. That's it, I knew it right then and there. Before she could even pull back, I did. Before she could even begin to speak up, I couldn't stop myself from doing so. And I kind of ended up blowing up at her a little bit...
