Monday...

I rolled out of bed and went to my closet to get dressed for the day.

I put on one of Jack's sweatshirts that he left here once which was orange along with some grey sweat shorts that could barely be seen because of the sweatshirt that was huge on me. I did my hair half up half down, brushed my teeth, then went to school with Jack.

Philosophy...

I was very excited to see Alena today. Today she was going to tell me whether or not she decided to ditch Ema and Dara. She said she'd think over it over the weekend but she was most likely going to do it.

So I walked into the classroom and went to sit down at my seat. Alena walked in two minutes later and she sat beside me. Right away, I turned to her in my seat, a big smile on my face. She looked over at me and chuckled the tiniest bit when she saw me.

"Well? Have you decided?" I asked Alena eagerly, still smiling. She took a deep breath. "I'm going to do it." She told me, trying to sound firm but also sounding nervous as she looked into my eyes. My eyes lit up and my smile grew huge. "Yay, I'm so happy for you!" I said excitedly, pulling her into a hug. She giggled hugging me back.

"But I need you there with me." Alena told me firmly, pulling me back from the hug and holding my shoulders. "You're the reason I'm seeing my life in a different way and you're the one who gave me the courage to try and be me again. Please come with me.." She explained, saying the last part pleadingly as her eyes stayed strongly on mine. "Yeah, don't worry. I'll go too. I'll back you up if you need help since over the past few years I've learnt to put up with their shit."  said the last part with a small chuckle, making her chuckle as well.

Lunch...

Once philosophy ended, it was time for lunch. And that meant it was time for Alena to talk to Ema and Dara. I could tell Alena was getting more and more nervous by the minute.

The two of us left the classroom and walked downstairs together.

"Do you know where they are?" I asked her once we got to the first floor. "Usually we all meet up at Dara's locker at the beginning of lunch." She told me, beginning to lead me in the direction of Dara's locker. So, we walked there which was luckily pretty close by.

When we turned the corner, we immediately saw them both there. Dara was doing stuff at her locker and Ema was beside her, talking to her.

I began walking towards them but Alena was quick to grab my arm.

"I'm nervous..." Alena whined quietly. "It's fine! You'll feel much better without people like them in your life."  told her while smiling. "Ok.." She said very nervously before taking a small deep breath.

So we walked down the little section and up to Ema and Dara. Right when we got to them, they both turned around to us. They both looked very confused when they saw us together.

"Why are you with her?" Dara spoke up, glancing at me with a weirded out look before looking back at Alena. "That doesn't matter." Alena said, trying to sound firm as she crossed her arms. "'K then ditch her. Come on, Aiden and Michael are waiting for us at the community center." Ema spoke up, grabbing her hand and beginning to pull her away. But Alena was quick to stop her.

"Uh.. I'm not gonna be hanging out with y-you guys anymore.. l-like ever.." It was very clear in Alena's voice that she was nervous and she didn't know how to approach this. I didn't know if I should speak up and help her out.. "What're you talking about?" Dara asked her, closing her locker and walking up to her.

Alena took a deep breath.

"I don't like the way you guys are so bitchy towards people who don't deserve it. For example, Roni and Jack." Alena began speaking more firmly now, making a small smile form on my face. "Ema, Jack is fucking over you, get the hell over it! Stop trying to sabotage him and his new relationship just 'cause your jealous! It's over, you fucked up your chance literally because you were too much of a stubborn, rude, bitchy and possessive person. And Dara, you don't even seem bothered by any of it. In fact, you're exactly like her." Alena finally blew up. The look on Ema and Dara's faces were priceless. They looked beyond shocked and offended.

"And I wanted to be exactly like you guys. But because of a new, real friend, I'm completely over it. So fuck you guys. Delete my number and remove me on everything, I'm dead serious." She told them both very firmly, looking back and forth at them. After that, she walked away. That was most likely because she didn't want to hear any of their bullshit or possible threats. By now, their jaws were on the floor.

"Alena! Get the fuck back here!" Dara shouted at her. But obviously Alena didn't obey that and she continued walking. I walked up to them with my arms crossed and a smirk on my face. Both of them looked over at me.

"What the actual fuck was that?" Ema asked me, still seeming completely shocked. "That was Alena, a good-hearted, nice, smart person getting rid of the negativity and bitchiness in her life like you two." I told them both, still smirking. "I-I'm so confused though, where the fuck did all that come from?" Ema asked me, seeming completely confused.

It made sense that they were so shocked, considering how long Alena has been 'friends' with them.

"I guess you can say she finally knows her worth. And it's much more than you two." I explained to them. "Seriously? So that's it, she just ditching us?" Dara spoke up, sounding offended. "Pretty much." I shrugged.

"She just thinks she SO much better than us now, huh?" Ema said in a mocking tone, also looking offended but also mad. "I don't see why she shouldn't." I told them while smiling. "She fucking wishes.." I heard Dara mumble as she crossed her arms.

"Well, since she apparently downgraded to you now.. be sure to let her know that she should expect the worst from us now." Ema told me firmly before they both began walking away. "Wait!" I said quickly, grabbing Ema's wrist. Both of them reluctantly turned to me. "What do you mean by that? She was your best friend, you really want to sabotage her? Are you kidding me?" I asked them, shocked. "Well, she pretty much just wasted our time all these years if she was just going to leave in the end so I think she deserves a piece of our minds." Dara explained with a hint of a smirk on her face. I was completely shocked with what I was hearing. These two had to be the most cruel and heartless people I've ever met...

"You guys never fail to blow my mind, you are the biggest assholes I've ever met.." I said to them, scoffing a tiny bit from shock. "Definitely no more than she is.." Ema mumbled as she crossed her arms as well.

I was left speechless for a few seconds.

"I'm so glad she finally got rid of you two.." I mumbled before finally walking away from them as well. After leaving them, I walked around a bit, trying to find Alena. I was pretty quick to find her sitting alone at a table in the cafeteria.

I walked up to her and sat across from her.

"That was the scariest thing I've ever done in my life.." Alena spoke up, sighing as she put her head in her hands. "Well, it's over now. You did it." I told her while smiling. She smiled a little bit as well.

"What did they say after I left though?" Alena asked me as she looked up at me, a hint of concern in her eyes. This was the part that I didn't want to tell her... "Um.." I mumbled, really not wanting to tell her. "Oh no.." She said, sounding and looking very worried.

"They told me to tell you to expect the worst from them.." I told her quietly. "God dammit! I'm already regretting this!" She whined, putting her head in her hands again. "It's ok! If they cared about you at all over the years they've known you, they won't want to hurt you." I tried to assure her.

"I know them, Roni.. They're seriously about to fuck me up really bad.." She sighed. "Don't worry about any of that. Live in the now. Your completely free now, doesn't it feel nice?" I told her, trying to stay positive. Alena looked up at me again.

"After Ema sabotaged you and Jack twice now, how do you two manage to not be scared that she'll do it again?" Alena asked me quietly. "Well because we've worked through her schemes twice before, we'll be able to work through any other bullshit she throws at us. We know that we're stronger than her and any of her plans. Sure they got us for a while but eventually they end up failing." I explained to her.

"Her plans are all temporary Alena, no matter how bad they may seem in the moment. So please just don't worry about any of her threats." I said the last part to her pleadingly. She took a small deep breath. "I suppose you're right.." Alena spoke quietly. "I know I'm right." I said to her firmly as I smiled.

"Ok.. I'll try to forget about it then.." She said nervously with a tiny smile. "There you go." My smile grew and so did hers.
