Next Friday...
I got out of bed then went to my closet to get dressed.
I got dressed in a grey cropped t-shirt with black ripped jeans and a red and black plaid pull-over tied around my waist. I put my hair half up half down, brushed my teeth, then drove to school with Jack.
"So Roni, --" Jack said, his eyes on the road as he drove us to school. "So Jack." I said with a chuckle before he could continue speaking. He rolled his eyes, also chuckling. "I was going to ask if you wanna go on a date in the evening but now I'm reconsidering.." He said jokingly, making me laugh.
"What do you have in mind?" I asked him with a smile. "Let's go bike riding. We can go to that hillside nearby and watch the sunset. We'll get home in time for movie night." He suggested, also smiling. "That sounds nice!" I said excitedly, making his smile grow.
Then I remembered that Jack was up really late last night, like until 4 am because he was working on a last minute assignment.
"Wait.. you were up late last night. Are you sure you'll be up for biking?" I asked Jack, looking over at him. "Yeah, I'll be fine. I was planning on taking a nap after school anyway and we'll be going later so it'll be fine." He explained, his eyes staying on the road. "Oh, ok good." A smile formed on my face again.
Lunch...
Jack and I walked together to his locker after we went to mine once the bell rang.
"Roni, could we sit with the guys today?" He asked me, his eyes on what he was doing in his locker. "Yeah sure. Miss them?" I asked him with a small chuckle.
"Kinda had an argument with Eli and Griffin that I still haven't resolved." He told me while shutting his locker. "Really? About what?" I asked him, a little concerned. He then explained that the arguments were about me and how they were saying he should talk to me again. I kind of felt bad that I was the reason for their fights..
"Oh no, I'm sorry..." I said quietly, leaning against the locker beside his. He turned to me. "Baby, it's not your fault. You weren't the one who told me to blow up at them." He told me with a small smile, pushing some of my hair behind my ear. "But still.." I sighed. "But nothing Roni. It's ok, I promise. Now let's go." He smiled, holding out his hand. I smiled a little bit as well as I grabbed his hand.
We walked to the cafeteria and found the table where the guys were. We walked over to them and greeted them all happily as I sat down beside Dean. Jack greeted them as well, sitting beside me. They all knew we got back together, we just never really talked about it with them yet.
"Hey guys. Glad to see you back together." Calum said with a smile. "Yeah, you guys seem like you're made for each other." Griffin said with a chuckle. I chuckled as well.
"Eli, Griffin," Jack spoke up. Both of them looked at him. "I'm sorry guys.. for you know, getting mad at you and stuff.." Jack told them. "It's fine. I know you were just upset and stuff." Griffin told him with a shrug. "Yeah whatever man.. Even though I was right, I can see how I crossed the line a bit. And like Griffin said, you were just in a bad mood since you lost the love of your life." Elijah said, saying the last part with a small chuckle. I laughed as well.
Jackson's P.O.V...
"Whatever, anyone w--" I was cut off from my sentence when my phone started ringing. I pulled it out from my back pocket and furrowed my eyebrows when I saw that my dad was calling me. "I'll be back guys. My dad is calling." I said, still looking down at my phone as I stood up.
I walked away as I pressed answer on my phone, holding it to my ear. "Jack!" My dad said before I could say anything as I stopped right outside the cafeteria, leaning against a wall. I started getting worried right when I heard him because he sounded very concerned.
