Next Saturday...
Right when I woke up in the morning, the nervousness for my date with Jeremy hit me. I still didn't even know what we were going to do on the date. But it was most likely going to be casual, considering we were only 15 which I was definitely ok with.
Jeremy told me that he'd be over at 3:30 pm so as of right now, I still had a lot of time since it was only 10:30.
So, I got out of bed, brushed my teeth, showered, then had breakfast while watching Netflix in my room.
But a while later, around 1 pm, Jack and I agreed for me to come over to his place for a while before it was time for our dates. I decided to just go to his house in my pajamas since there was still two and a half hours until my date.
I went next door and knocked on the door. Jack's dad answered the door but let me go up to his room right away. I went upstairs to Jack's room and knocked once before opening the door.
I immediately saw Jack laying in bed, shirtless and asleep. I rolled my eyes, chuckling a little bit as I saw it but also wondered how he fell asleep when we were literally just texting like twenty minutes ago.
I walked in and casually went over to his stereo and began playing music loudly. I chuckled a little bit as I saw him instantly jump up in bed.
"Roni..!" He groaned loudly but tiredly as he looked down, putting his hands over his face and making his middle-parted, fluffy and wavy hair fall forward. "Well what do you expect when you fall asleep right before I come here?" I asked him, still chuckling as I turned the music really quiet before going over to his bed. I sat beside him, leaning against the headboard.
He grabbed his t-shirt that was at the corner of his bed and put it on before leaning back against the headboard as well. I looked at him and that's when I saw his eyes were closed again.
"Can you wake up!" I shouted, aggressively pushing him. "Ok, sorry! Jeez.." He sighed.
"Jack, I'm nervous.." I said quietly. "Yeah, same." Jack also said, looking down. "Really?" I asked him, clearly sounding a little surprised as I looked at him. "Yes, of course. I really like Ema, you know. And this is where everything could go wrong." He explained, shrugging a bit.
Honestly though, what did he see so much in Ema?! He said himself that she was just like Dara and Alena so what about her made him so hung up? There was still a possibility that Dara and Alena were only mean to me for whatever reason but that was unlikely since a lot of people I know and even some I've talked to seemed pretty intimidated by them.
I kind of wanted to meet her to see what she was actually like...
"You'll be fine Jack. I definitely know you will. Of course everyone, including you, gets nervous but knowing you, you'll still make it the best date she's ever had. Today will be just like when you hung out with her last week, except this time it's labelled as a date." I told Jack, all with a smile. "You know all that goes for you too, right?" He said, looking over at me with a mix of a smile and smirk. "You can't just reverse my own pep talk like that!" I said defensively, jokingly punching his shoulder. "Well it's not my fault you gave advice that works for both of us." He chuckled.
"You know, if your date goes well, which it probably will, then can you maybe introduce me to her?" I asked him, a little bit hesitantly. "Only if you introduce me to Jeremy someday." Jack shrugged with a smile. "Uh, sure I guess I can. But of course only if my date goes well also." I said with a small smile. "Which it will." Jack said, his smile growing as his arm went around me.
I stayed at Jack's house until around 3 and then decided to go home to get ready for my date.
Once I got to my room, I went straight to my closet to see what I could wear. I had a pretty big feeling that it'd be casual so I wanted to dress casual but stylish at the same time.
