A Week Later... 

Things have been going exactly as expected. Mom still refused to even talk to dad and Jack said his dad has been doing pretty much the same with Mrs. Meyer. Nothing has gotten even a little bit better. 

As of how it's been going with Jack, that has also been going exactly as expected. We've been dating completely in secret so which meant we haven't been seeing each other at all at our houses or at the treehouse. And since we couldn't really be together after school, we were pretty much only able to see each other at school. We did call each other daily when we were at home though. So if my mom checked my phone history in any way, I would be fucked but I didn't really care at this point.

All of this also meant that the last time we had sex was literally the evening everything blew up. Day by day, we were really starting to get more and more horny and hungry for each other but we literally couldn't do anything since the only time we could see each other was at school. This just made us so much more annoyed at our parents. 

But within the past three or so days, Jack and I were slowly beginning not to give a shit anymore. At first, we were being VERY careful and secretive with our relationship but now we were starting to be more and more careless about it.

We were both just so over this! We were just so fucking annoyed by our parents that we really didn't care to follow their bullshit rules. So far we haven't gotten caught yet but I knew that my mom was suspecting us. And frankly, we weren't even really scared to get caught anymore. Like what could they possibly do, right?

Lunch... 

Once the bell rang for lunch, Lucas and I got up from our seats. We put our backpacks on before beginning to walk out of the classroom together. But just before we walked out of the room, I felt a hand on my shoulder. Both of us turned around to see Alena. She glanced up at Lucas before looking back at me.

"I'll see you tomorrow, Roni." Lucas told me quickly. I nodded, smiling. He gave me a quick hug before leaving the room and walking away.

"So what's up?" I asked Alena while smiling. "Can we talk? We can go to the cafeteria?" Alena asked me pleadingly. "Uh.. Sure. But it can't be for all of lunch, sorry. It's just that this is really the only time I have with Jack, you know?" I answered. I already told Alena partially everything that happened. "Yeah, that's fine. This'll be quick." Alena said with a small smile. 

So we left the class and walked downstairs. We stopped off at my locker before going to the cafeteria. We sat at an empty table across from each other.

"So.. you're like, good friends with Lucas, right?" Alena asked me. "Yeah, he's one of my best friends." I answered while smiling. "Well..." She seemed very nervous and hesitant. "What's wrong?" I asked her, my eyebrows furrowing slightly.

"I kind of.. have a crush on him..." Alena admitted quietly, avoiding eye contact. I gasped, my hands going over my mouth as my eyes widened. She looked up at me, looking embarrassed. "Really?!" I asked her very excitedly with a big smile. She nodded, blushing a little bit as she smiled. "This is so exciting, you guys would be so cute together!" I said very excitedly, grabbing both of her wrists.

"Yeah well.. the thing is, we don't really know each other very well. We've talked before, but not very much." Alena explained. "Oh so is the crush mostly based off looks then?" I asked her curiously. "I guess so. But I do know he's a really good person because of his whole story with you so that just makes me like him even more." She answered while smiling. "Well trust me, you'll like him even more when you get to know him. I swear he's like a teddy bear." I said the last part while laughing, making her laugh as well.
