Semester Two/1 Month Later...(Jackson's P.O.V)

I groaned quietly when I heard my alarm going off. I shut it off then got up from bed. I went to get dressed. I got dressed in a white t-shirt with a jean jacket over it and some grey jeans. I combed through my hair then went to brush my teeth. 

I went downstairs and to the kitchen to grab an apple but my mom was there. "Oh, Jack," She said when she saw me. She grabbed something from the table before walking up to me. "you have to give this to Roni." She handed me a small black box. 

I furrowed my eyebrows as I grabbed it and opened it. Inside, I saw a balled up silver necklace. I grabbed it and lifted it so I could see it properly. It was small and simple but very pretty. "Why do you want me to give it to her?" I asked her, putting it back before closing the box. 

Mrs. Meyer's P.O.V... 

I almost knew for sure that Jack had feelings for Roni as well. I didn't know 100% but I was quite sure. But I also knew that he didn't know himself that he had feelings for her. 

So this necklace was just to.. help them out a little bit. Maybe bring them a bit closer together. But I didn't want him to know that was the reason. 

Jackson's P.O.V... 

"Well, I was just out shopping the other day and I saw that necklace and I thought it was just beautiful but it completely doesn't suit me. But I didn't want to give it up so I thought of Roni. And I think it would look amazing on her, don't you think?" She explained to me. 

"Well yeah, but why don't you give it to her?" I asked her. "I think she'd appreciate it much more if you gave it to her." She smiled as her hand went on my shoulder. "Alright, I'll give it to her then." I said, putting it in my pocket. 

"One more thing. Say it's from you." Mom told me. "What? Why?" I asked her with a chuckle. "Why not? Just say you saw it at the store the other day and you thought it'd look beautiful on her." She told me. "Why?" I questioned again. "Well you do think that, don't you?" Mom smirked a little bit. 

I pictured the necklace on Roni. Wow... Mom was definitely right. From what I was picturing, Roni looked goddamn gorgeous. 

Luckily I snapped out of my thoughts quickly.

"I guess..." I said awkwardly. "Great. Have a good day at school then." She patted my shoulder before walking away. 

Veronica's P.O.V... 

Things with Jack have been going ok. Jack did a great job of not making me feel awkward about my crush on him which I was grateful for. But Jack's been acting a bit different in other ways. Honestly, I couldn't tell you how, he's just been different. Not in a bad way though I guess.

But anyway, I got out of bed and went to get dressed for my first day second semester. I got dressed in a tight-fitted cropped black shirt with some army printed cargo pants. I put my hair in a high ponytail, brushed my teeth, then went to school with Jack.

Once we got there, we had to separate though because we didn't have first period together. My first period class was travel and tourism and I had that class with Jeremy. 

I met up with him before going to class and we went in together. Jeremy did have two other friends in this class but he decided to sit beside me. His two friends sat behind us though. 

Around the middle of this class, our new teacher told us something quite surprising. 

"Alright everyone. I have an announcement so listen up." Our teacher said loudly to get everyone's attention. Everyone stopped talking pretty quickly. "So I know this is very sudden since this is your first day in this class but.. we'll be having a three day trip to Louisiana next week, Wednesday to Friday. We're going there by plane. There's more information on these forms and if you decide to go, have these forms signed with the money and back by Monday at the latest." The teacher told us while handing out forms.
