4:50 pm...

Now is when I decided to go downstairs to see my dad and talk a little before he left.

I got up from bed and left my room and went down to the first floor. I walked to the kitchen where I heard some noises. Once I got there, I saw my dad standing against the island, finishing up a cup of tea.

"Hey." I said with a smile as I walked up beside him. "Hey darling." Dad smiled as well as his hand went to the back of my head when he kissed the top of my head.

"Are you nervous?" I asked him, looking up at him. He took the last sip of his tea before answering. "Very." He answered, making both of us chuckle. "Don't be. He's been your best friend for like 25 years. This was a pretty big problem but not big enough for it to actually destroy your friendship." I told him with a smile.

"Wow, you and Jack are a lot alike.." Dad said while laughing. "He said the same?" I asked while laughing as well. "Pretty much." He chuckled.

"Well it's true. He may be mad right now and in the end, you might not be forgiven yet, but this is still progress." I told him with a reassuring smile. "You're right. Thanks darling." Dad also smiled while side-hugging me.

"I should be thanking you for even doing this. Really, it means a lot so thank you. Even though I know you're not only doing it for us, of course." I said the last part with a small chuckle. "Of course Roni. Especially if it means making you feel better." Dad told me with a smile. I smiled as well and we hugged.

"Anyway, I should probably get going now. It's about time." Dad said, standing up straight as before, he was leaning back against the island. "Alright, good luck." I told him, a little bit excitedly.

We said goodbye and he went to the front door to leave. I headed back up to my room.

Dad's P.O.V...

I went next door and rang the doorbell. I waited nervously before the door opened a few seconds later. I was faced with Isaak.

From what I could tell, he definitely wasn't very happy to see me. But surprisingly, he didn't look as mad as I thought he would.

Isaak opened the door more and stepped aside so I could come in without saying a word. I stepped inside and as I got off my shoes, he shut the door behind me.

He started walking into the house somewhere so I followed him. We went into the living room and by the big window, there were two cushioned armchairs so we went to sit there.

"What do you feel the need to say?" Isaak asked me, clearly sounding annoyed. "I definitely want to apologize to you first since I haven't gotten the opportunity yet. I'm seriously, really, really sorry Ize.. I really regret what happened back then and I'm sure Molly can say the same. But I promise you, even though this reason 100% doesn't make what we did right at all, it was only because we both felt the need to do one last bold thing. And I know.. that was SO wrong and if I could, I would without a doubt take it back. I swear." I started to say. I wanted to apologize to him a thousand times more but I figured I should let him say something.

"I appreciate your apology but what I just can't understand is how either of you could go through with something like that. Did you two just completely forget about your relationship or friendship with me and Elle?" Isaak asked me, sitting up in his seat a little bit. He didn't even really sound 'mad' or 'angry' right now.. more just confused and a bit upset and that made me feel worse. "Both of us were really drunk. It was one night after all of us went to some party. You and Elle had passed out and since we were really drunk, we started to act on that feeling of wanting to do one last crazy thing. Even the morning after I remembered it right away and even then I completely regretted it because I knew I had just betrayed my best friend and the love of my life. I never in a million years would've done it if I wasn't drunk and I know Moll could say the same." I said to him quickly.
