After kissing for a while and calming down all the emotions we were feeling, Jack and I got out of his car. I wiped away all my tears and managed to look somewhat presentable still. 

Jack wrapped his arm around me as we walked into the school today. Unfortunately, we had to part ways there since we had different classes though. 

After School... 

Once business class ended, Jack and I walked out hand in hand. We went to each others lockers before leaving the school. Once we got out of school, I stopped us from walking. 

"Hey, do you wanna hang out today? We could go to the mall or something." I suggested with a smile. "Yeah, let's do it. Is your mom home though?" Jack asked me, also smiling. "Luckily not. She left like twenty minutes ago for some really important work meeting. So she'll never know I was gone." I assured him. 

"Ok cool. We going straight there?" Jack said, his smile growing. "Wanna go home first so we can take just one of our cars? Also, my phone is almost dead so I need to grab my portable charger." I told him. "Yeah, ok. I'll meet you at home then." He said back. 

We pecked lips quickly before going to our own cars. Once we got in, we drove to our houses. 

After a quick drive, both of us got home at pretty much the same time. And once we got there, we got out of our cars and Jack walked up to me.

"Hey, can you come in and grab my charger for me please? I have to pee quickly." I asked Jack quickly. "Yeah, let's go." He answered as his hand went on my back, leading me to my front door. 

I unlocked the door and we walked in. We just left our shoes on as we knew we'd be very quick. 

"The charger should be on the kitchen counter. Thanks." I told Jack with a smile as I walked to the washroom that was right near the front door. "Got it." Jack said back before walking further into the house. 

So I walked into the washroom, shutting the door behind me.

Jackson's P.O.V... 

I walked down the hall quickly that led to the kitchen. 

As I walked past the living room, I naturally took a quick glance in it. But my heart skipped a beat as I saw Mrs. Lennon sitting on the single sofa. 

My first thought was 'Shit! We're caught'. But when I looked at Mrs. Lennon for a few seconds longer, I realized she was sleeping... 

I thought Roni said she was supposed to be gone for an important meeting.. what was she doing here, sleeping as well for that matter..

I don't know why I did so, I slowly and quietly started walking into the living room and up to her. The closer I got, the more I realized how much she was sweating. She was sweating quite a lot.. Once I got up to her fully, I noticed she looked quite flushed as well.. 

Mrs. Lennon honestly really didn't look very ok.. I had to tell Roni about this.

I quickly but quietly left the living room and headed back in the direction I came from. Just as I got back to the washroom, Roni opened the door.

Veronica's P.O.V... 

Just as I opened the washroom door, I saw Jack walk up to me. I looked down at his hands and saw he wasn't holding the charger. I looked back up at his face, now a little bit confused and noticed his somewhat concerned expression.

"What happened?" I asked Jack with my eyebrows furrowed as I shut the washroom door behind me. "Your mom's home babe.." Jack told me, speaking a bit quietly. My eyes widened. Before I could freak out, he spoke up again. "She's in the living room on the sofa. She's sleeping or something but she kinda looks sick.. you should check on her real quick. I'll wait here to make sure she doesn't see me." Jack told me quickly.
