Semester Two (Another Month Later)...

Today was Monday and it was also the first day of semester two. As for things with Jack, we never spoke or contacted each other again since that one day a the water fountain. And he also never bothered to ask me about my schedule to see if we had classes together.

And before anyone thinks anything like, 'Why are you leaving it all up to Jack to break the ice between you two and getting upset when he doesn't?' I have tried countless times to contact him. Almost everyday at a certain point in time, I texted him, trying to get a response but failing everyday. I even tried to text him and ask him if we have any classes myself but still got no responses. His life was just that busy now...

But anyway, my schedule for this semester was:

Period 1 - French

Period 2 - English

Period 3 - Lunch

Period 4 - Family Studies

Period 5 - Science

Jeremy and I had French and Science together, Shayna and I had French and Family Studies together and Coltin and I sadly only had French together. So it sucked that I had nobody I knew in my English class but the rest of my schedule was pretty good.

Anyway, I got out of bed and went to my closet to get dressed for my first day of semester two. I put on a tight-fitted red shirt with strings tied on the ends of it where my hips were and matched the shirt with some black jeans. I left my hair down, brushed my teeth, then went to school.

Right when I got there I met up with Shayna, Coltin and Jeremy since we all had first period French together. Once the bell rung for first period, we all started heading up to our second period class.

Once we got there, we saw that the tables were filling up quickly all with our new classmates. So we quickly headed over to two free tables. Jeremy and I sat beside each other right behind Shayna and Coltin.

I was talking to Jeremy when suddenly, right when the second bell rang meaning class was starting, a group of people walked in. I looked over at them and my eyes widened a little bit when I saw Jackson. He was with three other guys, all ones I always saw with him around the school.

As Jack was looking around, while still talking to his friends, I could've sworn I saw his eyes meet mine for a split second before looking away. Soon after, they all went to the opposite side of the class because there were only free tables there, and took a seat with each other.

Honestly, I just felt numb to anything related to Jack at this point. I've just gotten hurt by him way too many times to even feel it anymore.

"Roni.." Jeremy spoke quietly, pushing some of my hair behind my ear. I looked at him. "Are you ok?" He asked me, a sincere look on his face. I nodded a little bit. "Are you sure?" He clearly sounded concerned.

"I don't even feel anything when it comes to him anymore.." I spoke quietly, looking down. "Roni..." he spoke, sounding super upset for me as he pulled me into a hug. "I'm so sorry this is happening to you.. If you want, I can try to talk to him.." He told me before kissing my forehead, stroking the back of my head as well. I looked up at him but he continued to hug me.

"Thanks but, I don't want to intrude in his life when he clearly doesn't want me in it.. If he wants me back, I'm leaving it up to him now." I told him the last part firmly.

Anyway, the class went ok other than that. The classmates were ok, it's just that the teacher seemed a bit strict. But once the bell rang for second period, Jeremy and I left the class hand and hand. But before going separate ways, he pulled me aside.
