2 Weeks Later...

I woke up slowly in Jack's arms. It didn't take me long to realize I woke up to him gently rubbing my back to wake me. My eyes opened half way and I tiredly looked up at him as I was lying on top of him. His smile grew and his hand went under my chin as he pecked my lips quickly.

"Good morning.." Jack whispered to me, smiling cutely still. "Good morning Jack.." I whispered back, smiling tiredly as well as I pecked his lips once more.

We laid there together for about ten minutes more, talking quietly. But after that, we sadly had to get up for school. We left the treehouse and went to our own houses to get dressed.

I got dressed in a fitted grey sweatshirt along with some black sweat shorts. I put my hair in a high ponytail, brushed my teeth, then went to school with Jack.

Philosophy...

Once Alena and I finished our assignment together in this class a while back, we didn't really sit with each other in here anymore since we both had other people we were sitting with originally. But we were still friends and we still talked a lot. But as of today, it's been quite a while since I asked her how things have been going with Dara and Ema. I wanted to ask her.

So, when I walked into the classroom, I went over to our old seat that the two of us sat at together and sat down. Alena walked into the room a minute later.

As she was walking to her regular seat, she saw me sitting there since the table I was at was only two tables away from her regular table. I smiled, waving her over. She chuckled as walked up to me. She sat down at the table beside mine.

"What's up?" Alena asked me as she pulled out her books. "I need some updates. How has everything been?" I asked her while chuckling. She looked at me. "Well, other than the dirty looks both of them give me whenever they see me, surprisingly nothing has even happened." She told me, looking pretty surprised herself. "Really?" I asked her, surprised as well. "Yeah. They literally haven't said one word to me. I love it!" She said the last part with a big smile, making both of us laugh.

"So you don't miss them at all, right?" I asked her in a bit more of a serious tone. "Honestly, I really, really thought I would since I've known them for most of my life. But surprisingly, I actually really don't. I mean of course I did have some fun and memorable times with them and I miss those, but I think their shitty personalities overpower that." Alena explained to me. "Well that just makes it even better. I'm glad you don't miss people like them." I said to her.

"So all your other friends are still your friends as well, right?" I asked her with a tiny chuckle. "Yeah, that's what I'm most glad about. It was kind of surprising though since pretty much all of them are friends with Dara and Ema too. But hey, I'm not complaining." The last part made both of us laugh.

"By the way, I wanted to ask you something." Alena said to me. "Sure." I said, turning to her in my seat. "When lunch starts, do you mind taking me to Jack? I figured he deserves an apology from me too.." She asked me a bit more quietly. I smiled, hearing what she said. "Yeah, I think he'd appreciate that." I told her, still smiling. She smiled a little as well.

"Does he hate me though..?" Alena asked me, frowning a tiny bit. "Well I mean you're obviously not his favorite person but no, I don't think he hates you." I assured her. "Fair enough." She shrugged.

Lunch...

Once the lunch bell rang, Alena and I left the classroom together and we walked downstairs. I took Alena to Jack's locker since he usually always went there before meeting me at my locker.

Once we got there, we saw him there, switching out his binders and what not. So we walked up to him and just then, he shut his locker. He turned around to leave but when he saw us, I saw him get startled which made me chuckle a little.
