3 Weeks Later...

I got out of bed and went to my closet to get dressed. Since it was beginning to get cold out, I put on Jack's navy blue sweatshirt that he left here yesterday which was huge on me as well as some black slightly ripped jeans. I left my hair down, brushed my teeth, then went to school with Jack.

Lunch...(Jackson's P.O.V)

Once the lunch bell rang, I got up from my seat and began leaving the classroom. That was until I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around to see Ema smiling.

"What's up?" I said, turning to her. "Let's hang out for a while." She said, still smiling. "Uh, sure." I smiled as well.

So, we walked out of the classroom together. As we walked downstairs, I texted Roni, telling her I'd meet up with her later because Ema wanted to hang out for a bit. Once I got a text back from her saying that was fine, I put my phone away.

"Wanna go to the park?" Ema asked me as we walked out the front doors. "Yeah, sounds fun." I chuckled. So, we took the short walk to the park that was only about five minutes.

Once we got there, we went to take a seat at the swings that were right beside each other. We swung lightly on the swings for a while, having random and funny conversations.

But when the conversation fell silent for a couple seconds, I looked over at Ema when she stood up from the swing. She waved  me over as she walked over somewhere. She stopped nowhere in particular, kind of just in the middle of the park where nothing was at. I smiled a little bit in confusion as I got up and walked over to her. She looked up at me, almost looking a little nervous.

"I know you just forgave me recently and I'm sorry in advance, but I need to do this so you can finally be free to see things my way." She told me, her voice shaking the tiniest bit, almost unnoticeably. My smile faded and my eyebrows furrowed. What was she talking about.

But before I could actually say something back, she suddenly grabbed both of my wrists and wrapped my arms around her waist as she wrapped her arms around my neck and pressed her lips onto mine. My breath hitched as this took me very much by surprise.

Why the fuck was she kissing me? I thought she was finally past this ridiculous phase. I thought we could finally have a real friendship with none of that side drama because she apologized.

After a whole like four seconds which was my bad, I got out of my thoughts as was quick to pull back. I slid the back of my index finger across my bottom lip as I took a step back from her.

"Why the hell would you do that?" I asked her, clearly a bit of anger in my tone. "I told you why. You'll understand in a bit." She told me.

Not understanding what she meant by that, I walked away right past her and began speeding back to the school. I had to tell Roni about this.

Once I got back to school, I was quick to find Roni in the atrium, walking towards the cafeteria. I started speeding over to her. But as I was doing so, I saw someone else stop her before I did. It was Alena. I saw her hand over her phone to Roni. Getting a bad feeling, I rushed over to her even faster.

"Roni, whatever she said, don't believe it!" I said, just as I got to her. I didn't even know what Alena was saying/showing to her but it probably wasn't good. Roni turned to me but her eyes were still on Alena's phone. She definitely wasn't smiling.

She looked up at me and that's when I saw the tears in her eyes. Now my heart was beginning to beat faster and faster. What the hell did Alena do?

"Not even this..?" She spoke quietly, turning the phone to me as a tear fell down her eye. I was clearly able to see what was on the screen and when I did, it felt like my heart stopped for a second.
